EXPANDED EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Themes of disconnection and re-connection weave throughout the episode, revealing a common thread stitching together an otherwise diverse group of contributors who answered two basic, open-ended questions...
1. What was your experience like before, during, and after your most significant psychedelic experiences?
2. If you could tell the whole world one thing about psychedelics and/or neurodivergence, what would that be?
Overwhelmingly positive and gushing with loving reflections, this episode is intended to serve as a gentle beginning to the remainder of the audio doc series — a calm and mostly optimistic interlude that begs to be balanced out as future episodes flow downstream to explore more challenging topics including dives into so-called "bad trips", the very real and unwavering difficulties that come with neurodivergent life, and critical conversations in which audio doc contributors collectively contemplate the mythology of normalcy.
