This specialized force was named CRASH: "Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums" In 2001, a group of officers, including todays guest, were arrested after being exposed by another CRASH officer Rafael Perez, who was trying to get less time after getting himself in a tough situation. Later it was discovered there was widespread corruption within the police unit. This is a story connected to the Rampart scandal from 1998-2000. A Medal of Valor gang cop who became the very thing he was hired to stop. Ruben spent 16 years of an 18 year prison sentence. This is Ruben Palomares story... Author Frank Lewis continues his story with us.  Fresh out on parole, Frank was a member of The Crenshaw Mafia.  The parole board knew how dangerous of a situation this was, but they still made him travel through rival gang territories in order to check in. It didn't take long outside until Frank was faced with a major decision to make... 

In part 3 of our Series speaking with Author Frank Lewis the YA Baby, we pick up were we left off in episode 27. Frank takes us through his journey in the streets and after gettin put on by Wack 100, as a member of Crenshaw Mafia in the California Youth Authority.   

After witnessing his fathers murder by the LAPD at the age of 10, Frank found himself turning to the streets for guidance. Finding that person he looked up to, ended up changing his life forever.  Franks youth would be spent behind bars in YA and the person he looked up to the most, ended up being his co-accused and found himself on death row.

After witnessing his fathers murder at the hands of the LAPD, at age 10, Frank found his way to the streets. It wasn’t long until he was in Youth Authority for the stabbing of a rival gang member and soon to be discovered by investigators, a high profile shooting of two woman outside the House of Blues.  Turns out, the same gun Frank used to commit his crimes, was also used in the homicide of Thurman Brown, amounts two other attempted murders.

Frank witnessed his father gunned down by the LAPD, at the age of 10.  By the time he was 12 he was already entrenched in the gang life and had been to YA. At 14, Frank took responsibility for his role in the high profile shooting of a USC student named Lisa LaPierre, outside The House Of Blues on the Hollywood strip. The gun used was linked to not only a homicide, but multiple attempted murders, including on two other LAPD officers. Lisa and Franks encounter that July, would change both Lisa's and Frank's lives, forever.

They also address the rumors of the upcoming OG 2 Tone series, in which Jason hopes to play in as a washed up cop lookin to lock up 2 Tones ass for good (jokes)

Our guest, Slim 800 aka Bompton Jack Dripper, grew up in Compton California and is a member of the well known Blood set, the Fruit Town Pirus.  Slim breaks it all down for us. From growing up in Compton. Ending up incarcerated. Losing some of the homies to the streets. Being blessed with positive role models and the effect it had on him becoming the man he is today. And his message to todays youth.

Turk grew up in Philadelphia's notorious Blumberg Housing Projects.  From life in Blumberg Projects as a youth.  Getting shot 3 times. Spending some time in prison. And starting his own label;  T.H.E. "Talk Heavy Entertainment." He joins the guys to cover it all. Turk is a multi-talented business man.  Not only is he also an Artist, but he has a few movies scripts in the works and 4 books on the way, covering generational life in the projects.

Jose Alba, a 61 year old New York City bodega employee is being charged with second degree murder after defending himself while being attacked. Many say it was self defense, others say that it was murder.  What do you say?

Bill knows the struggle our youth go through when there's no father figure or role model at home, because he lived it first hand.

Growing up on the streets of both Detroit and Georgia, Bill got his first hand gun at the age of 13.

At 19 years old he was charged for armed robbery and the courts would see him sentenced to 9 years in prison.

While locked up, Bill told himself once he gets out he was going to be a better man and leave the gang life behind.

Many of the incarcerated say the same thing. 

However, Bill has already proven his commitment to change.

At the time of this interview Bill has been out of prison for 39 days. 

He has a quickly blowing up YouTube channel called Bill Feezzyy, where Bill shares both his comedic side and his sincere side, reaching out to our youth and helping to guide them on a better path. 

Not wanting to see any more kids get locked up over bad decisions, Bill has been actively mentoring and sharing his life experiences in a raw and unfiltered form through the art of storytelling.

Bill is a motivational speaker who lived the life and who can relate to our youth by speaking to them on the level about how a split decision can cost you your entire life.

In Episode #18 Jason see's an old friends mug shot in the news for a murder sentence.  The guys discuss some of Jason's troubled past and his long time friendship with the accused killer.  Jason also shares some pictures of his old “hood” on King Edward in London.  The very same hood where the "Botched Exorcism" took place.

Episode #17 finally delivers with video! 

Now the onslaught of insults and nonsense has a face… Two faces actually. 

The guys do a deep dive into the birth canal of the woke culture and touch on the nerves of it all. Specifically those who feel certain topics are not allowed to be discussed or else you get labeled the B word.   

In episode 17, the guys grab ahold of that nerve and use it as a jumping off point to parle a few of those topics. 

Not in a malicious way. Not in a degrading way. (mostly) But in a conversation and drag these topics into the open.
