Follow the Leader

Samurai have been diplomats, warriors, and politicians throughout history. The stuff of legends, in this episode we analyze how samurai came to be, how they were used by heads of state, and how they eventually carved out a little state for themselves. Most importantly, we'll discuss some of the fiercest samurai warriors -- including one that was a literal force of nature.
