In this episode we will talk about In an act of weaving with Nefeli Oikonomou, initiator and curator of our initiative. In an act of weaving is an umbrella including a Festival, Podcasts and Book publication.The initiative began with a festival with dance performances, installations, video works, workshops and choreographic interventions and is continuing throughout the year with Podcasts in November-December and Book publication in March 2023.

In an act of weaving is for weaving enthusiasts, dance artists and anyone who wants to feel in companionship again. a festival that is both close and far away, to keep in touch but also create new paths, a festival to ´hold the thread´ together again.

Participating artists in In an act of weaving are: Marcus Baldemar, Nefeli Oikonomou, Paloma Madrid (in collaboration with composer Hara Alonso), Sandy Ceesay, Sebastian Lingserius, Ludmila Christeseva. 

With a series of events both live, outdoors, digital and finally in book format, we redefine closeness, what is public & private, digital & live, centralized & decentralized, alone & together. How have relationships and life changed?
