Ancestral Muses
By Pamela Bussey
We will explore these areas and more in a collaborative manner with individuals I have met and with whom I maintain relationships.
Podcast art was result of a collaboration with a friend who is an artist, YVE, who created an installation called “Sojourner” , which had as its impetus the masks we wear. I was honored to be one of the subjects.

Maho Shing and Pamela Bussey having a conversation
Maho Shing, an Architect and Artist, ia a friend of mine who thought it would be interesting to interview me and create a Podcast episode on Ancestral muses and his platform Acke Art.
I am used to asking the questions so i had to dig deep to chillax and go with the flow.
Surprisingly, i think it went well! We did not edit so this is a raw, unedited conversation between kindred spirits! Stay tuned for more episodes like this. Feel feel to share any comments.
Thank-you Maho as we have been planning to do this for almost a year!
Today is November 11, so the 11-11 portal is open. This means it's an auspicious time to connect with self and manifest the life you want to have.
Tomorrow begins Diwali, which is a major Hindu festival which symbolizes the victory of light over dark!
Happy Diwali to all!

YUKAYEKE of the JAGUAR
As an aside, we had attempted probably 3 times to do a podcast episode so they could share their story to no avail. i then said that apparently the ancestors wanted us to do this in person as a video.
I apologize for the background noise- for the most part people were respectful of my attempts to engage themas i did share i was doing a podcast episode.
Stay tuned as i will visit them again at the Tomato State Park Mounds (these are primarily burial mounds) which date back 5000 years and are some of the earliest Native American settlements on the central east coast of Florida.

Public Service Announcement regarding Stress- My gift to all the Mother's, Aunties, and Sister friends on Mother's Day
These days and times are stressful for us all. Remember to take the time to breathe, pause and try to get outside in nature- Go for a walk or just go outside and breathe some fresh air!
How about a change of scenery as in traveling. I will share in a future podcast about my recent trip to Togo in West Africa.
In the meantime, be in the Present Moment, Live Life, Tap into your 5 Senses! Feel free to comment in the Interact tab on my podcast about the ways you alleviate stress.

“A cloud never dies, it transforms”- Ullambana Festival -August 21, 2022
The Origin and Meaning of Ullambana and Making Offerings to Sangha Ullambana Sangha Offering Ceremony is for Buddhist laity to offer a meal to the Buddha and the Sangha as an act of reverence.
According to the Ullambanapatra Sutra, when Maudgalyayana, a chief disciple of Sakyamuni Buddha, was unable to alleviate the suffering if his mother in the realm of hungry ghosts, the World-Honored One told him that the only way to deliver his mother from the pains of suffering is to rely upon the strength of monastics of all directions in their cultivation of meritorious virtues. The Buddha instructed his disciples to dedicate an elaborate offering of food and fruits to all Sangha members in the names of his parents from the past seven lifetimes as well as the present lifetime because the practice of Sangha offering has the power to transform and deliver all sentient beings.
The merits thus acquired could liberate the deceased from the three suffering realms and allow the living to enjoy a life of abundance, good fortune and longevity. Therefore, by observing the practice of Ullambana Sangha Offering, all Buddhists can deliver their parents from the miseries of the three suffering realms. “
