"Pamela Garfield-Jaegar on Gender Distress"

"Pamela Garfield-Jaegar on Gender Distress"

Michael interviews Pamela Garfield Jaegar on her upcoming book. Pamela Garfield Jaegar is a licensed clinical social worker with a vast experience with youth and school based programs.  She has worked in residential and outpatient programs for adults and teens who are severely mentally ill.

She has been outspoken against the identity politics takeover of the mental health industry.  In particular she is outspoken against the “Gender Affirming Care” for minors.

Her new book is titled “A Practical Response to Gender Distress, Tips and Tools for Families”.   It’s an easy-read overview so families have the essential information to make true informed consent about gender medicine. The e-book is available for pre-sale and the paperback and hard cover will be available March 12th, in honor of Detransitioner Awareness Day.  https://www.thetruthfultherapist.org/

"Side Quest ep 1. SILENT HILL 2"

"Side Quest ep 1. SILENT HILL 2"

On the first official "Side Quest" episode Michael & Matthew talk about one of the GOATS of video game history SILENT HILL 2. (*SPOILERS* abound in this episode.  If you have not played the game, go play it is widely accessible.) Considered one of the very best in the psychological horror genre the game has a remake coming out which looks promising. SILENT HILL 2 is known for its fog, atmosphere, terrifying sound design, iconic enemies (Pyramid Head), pacing and writing that were way above and beyond back in its initial 2001 release on PlayStation 2.   They also discuss some of the game's influences like the novel Crime & Punishment, Jacob's Ladder and David Lynch films. The Lynch influence is most felt in the voice acting which is wonderfully "off" and cryptic. They also comment on the Last of Us TV show series finale (which was was 10/10), Black Summer on Netflix, Remakes more broadly and the other entries in the Silent Hill franchise including Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4:The Room.   Thank you for listening! The Ghost of Dancing Slow

It was the 80s, and everything that could go wrong did go wrong: a bad record deal, merchandising disasters, and the now-infamous "monkey incident." But now the Star Crumbles are back, dusting off the old hits-that-might-have-been for the long-delayed release of the legendary lost album The Ghost of Dancing Slow

After decades of legal wrangling with their label (whose name will not be repeated here), original Star Crumbles Brian Lambert and Marc Schuster have painstakingly remixed, remastered, and in some cases reconstructed the tracks they first recorded in 1985. Now, for the first time ever, The Ghost of Dancing Slow is available on all streaming platforms.
