They need to take one down to prove their mettle in order to enter the Festival of Thought, a rite of passage in Shattershome, so they can be granted a boon from the nation's Supreme Inventor, Jinglecrack Whizzbang. But the beast is a fearsome foe commanding elemental forces, so the party makes plans to prepare. 

Xeness receives a rather interesting communication from home, Rhys prepares to contact a powerful entity, and Hrolf, Kathryn, and Waylan are all experience the trust horror of them all: a closing shift at a retail establishment... on a holiday weekend.

After arriving in Shattershome, the group had an evening paying respects to the Bringer's and planning their next move. Deciding on visiting the king, the party decides to request his aid. After learning their new target is the archawk, a large elemental bird made of lightning, the party decided to go to the library to prepare. On our previous episode, the party arrived in Shattershome and found a place to rest their heads in The Glass House, the inn run by the daughter of Waylan's former compatriot, a gnomish soldier named Lara. The group finds themselves at the Bringer's Rest, a memorial made to honor those lost in the Primal War. 

As they pay respects and reflect, Waylan reveals his inner thoughts and has several emotional moments at the memorial reminiscing about his old family. Xeness has a harrowing evening and an interesting morning visitor, and Rhys gives a cooking lesson at the inn!

Picking up from last episode, our adventurers find themselves having survived their encounter with the Levin Angel, but not without a near-death experience for Rhys that haunted Kathryn for her inability to have saved him. 

The group finds themselves inside Shattershome, the gnomish City of Glass and artifice capitol of Alloria! Not being actively pursued, attacked, or threatened for once, the family takes the night to relax in a curious tavern called The Glass House and take in some live entertainment. We learn more about Hrolf than even he knew, Kathryn expresses her confusion regarding new familial feelings towards Rhys, and Waylan takes the group sightseeing! Our DM Mike and Jeff break down the history of the Primal War and Bringers of Genesis, a massive conflict that shaped the face of Alloria that Waylan was directly apart of, over 60 years ago. They also unpack what it means for Waylan's story to be told for a second time, his fears for the Preserver's plans, and finding room in his heart for a second #FoundFamily.
