The podcast is full of informal chat and stories from the past. The aim of this podcast is to record an oral history of Cumann na mBunscol Áth Cliath and to showcase a selection of the many volunteers who have made this primary school, sports organisation such a success for over 90 years. Tadhg, Jerry and James travel to the midlands for a chat with the great Tom Fitzpatrick from Finore, Co. Clare. 'Fitz' is one of the iconic characters of Cumann na mBunscol, Áth Cliath and has served the organisation with great distinction in a variety of roles since the early 70's. His passion for the development of sport, language and culture is infectious and only matched by his commitment to teaching, teacher training and childhood development.
