CES 2023 XRAI Glass Interview & Product Review
There were just too many booths at CES 2023 to physically visit so I made a list of exhibitors and founders I wanted to interview and mapped out my show plan. I was grateful that close to the end of the show. Dan Scarfe, CEO of XRAI glass and co-founder and chief marketing officer Mitchell Feldman came to meet me in the media room for lunch and a casual chat about their innovative app, XRAI glass, a software solution powered by augmented reality. It converts audio into visuals, allowing a pair of smart glasses to turn speech into subtitles. With XRAI glass deaf individuals can enjoy rich conversations with multiple people in the room remotely or nearby. There is an expanded use case for education and those with learning disabilities. Here is the interview!

2015 - Started live-streaming on Periscope. My daily streaming about travel led to paid travel and tourism campaigns and product sponsors.
2016 - Created content on more livestream platforms and became an advisor and beta-tester for new apps trying to enter the space.
2017 - Left a full-time job and went all-in on live-streaming, moved to LA to create more cool content and expand my network.
2018- Worked with more brands, started teaching best practices to new creators, spoke on tech stages, designed a course, guest lectured at a college.
2019- Was recruited into network television news as a Digital Live Producer, built a livestream studio and trained journalists how to use it and go live with breaking news.
2021 - Launched my Savvy Streaming startup. I am currently coaching experienced content creators how to go live everywhere. I’m not just doing this for me, my tips will help you build my own community too!

I enjoy working with clients who want to improve their social media reach by going live. I will let you know when I have a new product I recommend or stream feature to test, but we will also just have coffee chats like this one. I love connecting with you. Please comment below where you are watching from, live or on the replay. Thank you so much!
Anything is possible if you just keep doing what you love. Please note, I kept my day job until I knew remote live production was what I wanted to do full-time. I still periodically work with companies if our purposes align - as a brand partner, beta tester or full-time producer or marketing executive.
It is great to meet new subscribers and I appreciate you!
We are on Amazon Live now. Please Follow!
JUST DO IT! If I started an Amazon Live channel you can too. Create consistently and anything is possible. I believe in you. It took a lot of studying, hard work and self-motivation to get to where I am today. Grateful for the friends who noticed my determination, talent and progress - even if they didn’t know what I was rambling on about half the time. LOL! You don’t have to go it alone though, like I did in the beginning. Find your group of friends, peers and fans to help push you through the doubt. Welcome Back: InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas
Pro AV industry professionals gathered in Las Vegas Convention Center North and West show floors to preview hardware and software production solutions, attend meetings, catch up at networking events, and even left the property to experience immersive behind the scenes experiences.
You can check out some of those experiences and How'd They Do That series on YouTube. LINK: youtu.be/24ghCLM7XHk
The show welcomed nearly 20k attendees from around the US and from more than 110 countries.
And everyone was excited to be together again to check out the latest trends and audio and video and learn how we can work together now that the world has opened up again. You could feel the excitement walking through the show room floor as crowds were gathering looking at product demonstrations asking questions on how they can upgrade our own workflows and help clients with creating better virtual and in person meetings, classes, virtual tours, sports and entertainment experiences and hybrid events.
I myself stuck close to the Roland booth which was in the north hall and they were showcasing six solution stations that featured a new direct live streaming hardware solution, hybrid event workflows, sports and esports production devices, content creation products, single operator production, and a video light conversion device that allows a DJ, musician or entertainment venue to have the lights match the music - creating a fully immersive experience.
522 exhibitors showcased innovative pro AV products. The leaders of the exhibition that is produced by the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) had this to say…
“InfoComm is the only place in North America where the entire ecosystem of the pro AV industry gathers – from manufacturers to distributors to integrators to end users,” said David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA.
“This week has been a celebration of and for our industry – from the trade show floor to the AVIXA council events to our educations sessions,” said Rochelle Richardson, CEM, Senior Vice President of Expositions and Events, AVIXA.
InfoComm 2023 will take place in Orlando on June 10-16 (Exhibits 14-16) at the Orange County Convention Center. Visit www.infocommshow.org for more information.
Sign up for the AVIXA Xchange community to connect with ProAV industry-leading solution providers and manufacturers.

News Tips & Hacks: Gain increased media exposure, prepare for a virtual interview
As promised, I am doing a recap of an audio chat I produced on the Clubhouse App with a few of my media industry friends on how to attract and prepare for media exposure. I've shared these tips before over the years on my website and in my livestream videos, but as the world has increasingly gone all digital, I felt it was time for a refresher.
My peers dropped some serious gems on their individual areas of expertise and kept their advice fun and simple to take action on. Their behind-the-scenes take on how to be newsworthy and ready for an on-air or virtual interview was eye-opening.

The CES 2021 All-Digital Show: My Review & Favorite Products
Watch my CES 2021 video recap here at www.youtube.com/c/rockynashlive
Hi. I'm Rocky, a Livestream Producer, and 360 Content Creator. I attended the CES 2021 technology convention from Jan. 11 to 14...well virtually. CES was focused on creating a better normal. Watching from the comfort of our own homes, we all had front-row seat to how technology can get us there.
This podcast describes some of my favorite finds.
While in years past, I dreaded not having enough time to visit all the booths on my list, or missing connections, in 2021, CES attendees have until Feb. 15 to replay, rediscover and relive the show. See you at https://digital.ces.tech.

YouTube's New Livestream Caption Feature!
Today, I woke up to an article about YouTube’s new livestream caption feature. This is huge for me as a Livestream Travel host. More people will be able to join the #RockyNashLive conversation in my virtual travel and lifestyle tours! I was surprised to see my YouTube channel 'Rocky Nash Live' featured on the cover of each online news article too! It is really inspiring to know brands see my hard work and contributions in this field. Although tired at times, things like this push me to keep going on my journey to help businesses use livestream video to connect with their audience online. Thanks for the shoutout YouTube! *wink
