"It's the Magic of Sheffield"

"It's the Magic of Sheffield"

Third year students Hannah Dibble (English Literature & History) and Luke Wakeman (East Asian Studies) have a conversation about their dissertations, modules, why they chose Sheffield, student living, and more.

Luke is a third year East Asian Studies student with a particular research interest in mobility, migrant communities and cultural histories. Outside of his university work, Luke loves to cook food from all over the world, explore the Peak District by walking and climbing, and share his love of music on Forge Radio where he hosts a disco and soul show.

What's it like studying on the MA English Studies (Online) programme?

What's it like studying on the MA English Studies (Online) programme?

Lisa Holloway is a student on the MA English Studies (Online) programme. Lisa lives in West Yorkshire with her husband (a police officer) and two children, Erin and Finley. Lisa is a secondary school English teacher in an 11-18 school, and she leads on GCSE English Literature and whole-school literacy. She is an avid reader of fiction, particularly dystopian, Booker/Pulitzer Prize winners, and anything with a feminist angle, but she is open to anything! She enjoys Medieval literature but her eyes are being opened to many other interesting topics on the MA English (Online) programme!
