The Fathers Truth

The Fathers Truth

By Alan Donovan

My name is Alan Donovan. In 2015 I found myself in a custody fight to be a part of my sons life. After hiring a lawyer and getting screwed over, I decided enough was enough and I was going to represent myself! After getting full custody of my son I decided I was going to give back and help other fathers who were in the position I had once been in. I now focus on giving fathers who are being alienated a platform to get their stories heard. On the fathers truth you will hear interviews I've done and continue to do with fathers all around the world.

Episode #57 Farouk Islam- The Dark Reality of the UK Family Court System: A Battle for Father's Rights and the War on Men and Boys

ow often do fathers in the UK find themselves stripped of their rights, feeling powerless and demasculinized by the family court system? Farouk Islam, an electrician engineer, content creator, and activist, joins us to reveal the startling reality of the family court system in England. In this eye-opening discussion, we examine how false allegations can disqualify a father from their child's life overnight, and how some government-funded organizations keep women in the system to secure the numbers needed for funding.

As our conversation with Farouk continues, we delve into how the family court system in England is designed to capitalize on primal human behavior, further fueling this devastating issue. We discuss the alarming number of men who self-harm or take their own lives each year, the inherent bias against fathers in the legal system, and how social workers often lack impartiality. Furthermore, we uncover how the system has studied human psychology and incentivized it to keep fathers away from their children.

Finally, Farouk and I explore the wider implications of the Istanbul Convention and UN Women's Convention, both embedded into the law in most Western countries. We discuss how this has created a dangerous imbalance in the family court system, with mothers frequently seen as the victims, regardless of evidence. By examining the consequences of this gender war, we consider how it has led to people losing sight of the truth and put men and boys in a perilous situation. Don't miss this crucial conversation for anyone concerned about the well-being of fathers and their children.

Summer has been formally educated in policy in order to be more effective in lawmaking in New York State. The two of them have been busy fine-tuning bills and finding the best possible verbiage, as well as compiling research for their efforts. The conversation is about the need for people to understand and break down the research and facts on father's rights in order to make sense of it, even for lawmakers. Andre is great at getting messages across in a political way and has the political experience to back it up. The speaker mentions they have been working on this for almost a decade and sending out emails to senators and representatives, but got no replies. They are now looking into running for office locally to try and make a difference. This conversation is about the importance of making connections in the political community. Alan makes the point that modern politics is based on favors and favors, and Summer discusses her experience with the politics in New York. Jordan adds that to make progress on social issues, it is necessary to bring awareness of the research and statistics to the political community, in order to influence change. They conclude that if the world wasn't so divided, a lot more would be able to get done.

Episode #55 Gabe Kessler - Uncovering a Family Secret After DNA Test Results: The Emotional Reunion of Gabe and His Biological Father

Episode #55 Gabe Kessler - Uncovering a Family Secret After DNA Test Results: The Emotional Reunion of Gabe and His Biological Father

SUMMARY In this episode of The Father's Truth, host Alan Donovan talks to Gabe Kessler, a 41-year-old firefighter from Southern California who experienced his mother lying to him about his father. Gabe explains how his mother had lied to him for most of his life, and at the age of 42 he was finally able to meet his biological father for the first time. Alan encourages Gabe to share his story and stresses the importance of bringing the truth about fatherhood out of the darkness. Gabe talks about how his mother's lies affected him and how he eventually confronted her about the truth. He ends the conversation by sending a message to all fathers to stay strong and fight for their rights. HIGHLIGHTS I don't know about on a daily basis. I think the thing probably that gets to me the most because like I told you, my dad, Bobby, my biological dad, he texts me a couple of times a week, or he'll call. And when I text him back, I always say Bob. Right? I never say dad. And I kind of feel a little bit guilty about that, right? Because I'm like, fuck. I just feel a certain type of way about it. In a way, I kind of feel bad because I'm like, fuck. And then I have an aunt who was murdered a while back. Her killer actually just died in prison, like a year ago. I never got to meet her. There's just so much stuff that I miss. And I look at my brother and my relationship and how many cool fucking memories we have and how strong our relationship is. I'm like, fuck, what if I had two more of those relationships? Dude, that would be so cool. But I don't have them. It's like, I do have another brother and another sister, but I'll never have a relationship with them like I do with my brother. Yeah, there's so many things that I think about that suck about it, right? The grandparent aspect of it really bums me out because not because my grandparents weren't blood. I love them. They were the most beautiful souls on this fucking planet by far. Amazing people. I'm so bummed, though, that I never got to meet my dad's parents. Because if one set of grandparents was like that, imagine having two sets of grandparents like that like, holy shit. Sister and like a fucking cousin that grew up in my neighborhood that I didn't even know was my cousin and aunts and uncles. And it's gnarly. I still can't even wrap my head around it. Sitting here talking to you about it makes me realize, like, holy shit, I still really haven't grasped the fucking size of this thing. Yeah, it's hard to wrap your head around it. It's fucking so just like an unfathomable thing, right? It's like not something that you think would ever happen to you. That's going to be at the end of the day, and I tell fathers this all the time when it comes down to the suicide aspect of things, like when a father becomes suicidal. And I've had a lot of fathers reach out to me that were on their last edge. They were on the edge of the rope and they were going to commit suicide. And I said, do you really want this to be the legacy, your legacy that you leave your kids, and this is going to be her legacy? I know they're two entirely separate things, but it's going to be the same thing. This is going to be her legacy.

Episode #54 Ruben Vargas Jr - Father's Rights Advocate: Battling Parental Alienation And Unethical Divorce Lawyers.

**Please note audio is pretty bad on this episode. A lot of connection issues**

Alan Donovan is hosting another episode of The Father's Truth, a show about standing up for fathers' rights and giving them a voice. He is speaking to Ruben, who is sharing his story. Ruben's situation began with a typical divorce, but he had no idea that parental alienation would be a result. Ruben was in the military at the time of his daughter's birth, and was granted a weekend off to travel from Minnesota to Kentucky to witness the birth. On the day of the birth, Ruben was waiting in the queue to be present. This is the story of a father who was not present at the birth of his daughter. He had done his best to be there, but his efforts were thwarted by his ex-partner's family who threatened violence if he were to go there. He himself is a military man and is not someone who is prone to violence but is more concerned with the consequences should a physical altercation occur. He has no criminal record and has always tried to stay away from violence. This story serves as a reminder to fathers in similar situations to stay calm, think rationally, and not to let emotions get the better of them.

She then explains that her daughter stole her vehicle in the middle of the night and blew the engine, and was then picked up in Columbia Falls. Maggie is a single parent who is struggling to raise her daughter. Her daughter is exhibiting signs of juvenile crime, which she attributes to the lack of two parents in the household. The speaker wanted a more formal agreement than the informal one offered by the court, as it did not provide the help she was seeking. The conversation then shifted to one of the Alan's experiences from when he used to work as a bouncer and encountered a customer who had an interlock device on their car. This lead to the speaker telling a story about being born in New York State and the struggles he encountered in trying to fight for custody of his kids due to the traffic in the Charlotte region. The speakers concluded that something needs to be done to improve the infrastructure of the roads and to have more officers out directing traffic instead of people being stopped at green lights. The speaker is talking about his experience living in rural North Carolina and how he misses the freedom of being able to move around without traffic jams. He also discusses how he met the mother of his two sons in 2016, and how having children so quickly was not the best idea. He states that having his two boys gave him a newfound purpose, and he has talents in the construction field, such as home improvements and electrical work. He is trying to gain traction with his career and make a better life for his family. The speaker describes his experience of becoming a father five years ago. He explains that he and his partner made the mistake of moving into her parents' house when she was pregnant, instead of setting their own boundaries and getting their own place. He reflects on how this has impacted his current situation, where he is now in a one bedroom apartment five years later, without a down payment for his own home. He shares that his son is four years old, born on Halloween. He emphasizes the importance of setting boundaries and communicating expectations from the beginning of a relationship, or starting a family.

Episode #49 Louis Holmes - Family law reform petition

Episode #49 Louis Holmes - Family law reform petition

On this episode, Lewis Home, a Persian Gulf veteran, a New York City firefighter, and a father is his guest. Lewis has experienced firsthand the difficulties a father faces when trying to remain a part of their child's life, such as access, child support, and false allegations. Lewis was even arrested for false allegations. He has now created a petition for family law to be changed in New York State. On the show, Lewis shares his story of how he has been affected by the family court system, and how he is working to reform the system.

Highlights

And the court should provide you with that information. And you may be discouraged, but you have to do it. You have to keep doing this. I encourage every father to go online and find your local senators email address and reach out to these senators. Send letters. Send letters. Type up the email. And then after you email it, copy and paste it, put in a Word document and a letter format. Print it out, send it to your senator, get proof that you mailed it to them, like certified or whatever and show that you keep sending out to them, keep standing on top of them.

So you walk in the courtroom, you hold your head high, you do what you can, and if all fails and you feel like they're cheating, you, make some noise. Go to the news. File complaints against these judges. Keep filing the complaint until somebody gets your attention. They're going to have to do work. Whoever you file a complaint against, they're going to have to do work. You should go to a court clerk and say, how can I file a complaint against this judge?

And since the start of the year, since the start of the new year 2023, there's been seven or eight instances where mothers have killed their children. Because I've been watching it, I've been compiling it and posting about it, and it's unreal. The amount of times I've heard, well, it must be postpartum depression, and they blame it on postpartum depression. And they go so far as to defend these mothers that do these heinous acts. And family court, they don't care. Because you know what?

And then I'm also seeing a lot of cases where now this postpartum postpartum depression is a huge issue where a lot of kids are being killed in the hands of the mother, and they just keep turning a blind eye. Like just recently, not to law, a few months ago, a mother killed her kids in Coney Island on the beach. You would think family court would say, all right, now we have to do something about this.. They didn't do anything about it, and it's ridiculous, and they won't.

Yeah, I went and took a look at the petition today and signed it and everything, and you are getting signatures. And when I posted the advertisement for this episode, I've had a lot of people reach out to me wanting the link, wanting to know how they can go about signing the petition. And I will put the petition link in the show notes so people can go and sign it and share it. And I will be sharing it to my page here after we get offline, after this is over, to get more signatures for you. What's the threshold for signatures that you need before it gets picked up?

Episode 47 Fathers rights in India

Episode 47 Fathers rights in India

On this episode Alan Donovan is speaking with Tash from Bombay, India, to discuss her brother's situation and father's rights in India. Taj last spoke to Allen about her brother's situation a year ago and hadn't gotten to the court part of it yet. Alan and Tash discuss the situation in India and how fathers in the States deal with false allegations, alienation, and other issues. Tash is taking a few moments to sign in from the correct account so they can continue the conversation. Alan and Tash will continue their conversation and provide updates on father's rights in India. Tash, a female activist, is discussing her brother's situation with his wife. The speaker believes the wife was trying to manipulate and control the brother by pushing his boundaries and distancing him from friends and family. She advises men on the best way to be manipulated, saying that women naturally have the tendency to emasculate men and telling them they are not man enough. She then warns all men that even the good women know how to manipulate them.

The conversation is about how women often make men feel like they are not “man enough” or that they are not standing up for them. This is especially true when it comes to a man’s family, friends, and other loved ones. The woman in the conversation believes that manipulation and control are often used by women to get what they want. Additionally, society has a strange notion that men don’t care about their kids, when in reality, everything a man does is for his family. The woman argues that a man works hard and provides for his family because he wants to give them the best life he can. In the end, she posits that men care deeply about their families and that they should be respected as such. The conversation discusses the misconceptions that society has around men, the demands that are placed on them and the fact that they can live with very little. The discussion then goes on to talk about the way in which men can be manipulated by their partners and spouses, and how this can have a damaging effect on their relationships with their family and friends. The conversation also touches on the Me Too movement and how it has glorified victimhood, and how this can be used by women to their advantage. Finally, the conversation talks about how it is important for men to look out for red flags in their relationships, such as a partner putting down people that are important to them, and how this can be a sign of manipulation.

Episode #44 Brooke Macphearson

Episode #44 Brooke Macphearson

In this episode, Brooke Macphearson talks about how she steps in to support her husband as he deals with a difficult divorce and custody battle. She explains that their situation was very different from her own experience of amicable co-parenting between her and her daughter's father. Her husband was suddenly served with emergency custody and accusations of abuse, which was a complete blindside to him. She expresses her sympathies, noting that this is a common occurrence for many fathers. She ends by reiterating the importance of advocating for fathers and emphasizing the mission of Father's Truth. The conversation centers around the so-called playbook that some women appear to use in divorce cases. It involves making false allegations, blindsiding the other party, and claiming victimhood to gain an upper hand. The speaker has firsthand knowledge of this issue, having witnessed the consequences of divorce in her own family. She has seen how a single parent can become a victim of the family court system, and how this has become a profitable business model for some women. The speaker also notes that even though her own parents are still together, she has seen how children of divorced couples can be deprived of their right to see one parent frequently. This conversation highlights the need for greater awareness of the tactics employed in divorce cases and the importance of ensuring that children have access to both parents.

Episode #43 Amish Nightmare part #3

This episode of The Father's Truth brings in Emmet for part 3 of his story. A former Amish man and father who has been fighting for his children. Emmy talks about the continuous fight he has been facing and the sad reality of having his children for the first time in four and a half years. He talks about the brainwashing his ex-wife has done, trying to bring in God as a way to control the situation. The host, Alan Donovan, encourages Emmy to talk about the issues that are being faced and how the Amish culture handles them, such as bestiality, drug abuse, alcoholism and rape. Emmet is discussing a recent visit with his 11-year-old daughters, who are Amish. He explains that he had a good time with them, but that his ex-wife did not come out to meet with him. He then goes on to explain the difficulties of communication between them, due to their religious beliefs, as the Amish do not use phones. He then questions how the process of communication between them works, as the court granted him access to his children at any time. He concludes that his ex-wife has access to cell phones, yet still does not communicate with him, which he finds hypocritical.

Highlights

She accused everybody around that was in my life of sexual allegations. And she's not going to be held accountable for it. And she hasn't she's not been held accountable for anything.

Why is my attorney saying there's her attorney. He's got three cases with him, and all three cases are in three different counties with three different people with identical export.

And that's what my attorney said. His exact words were, this is the only thing we have. And we still went the way it did. I've lost every bit of faith in family court, really, in any I mean, you look at the White House, what we're dealing with, it's all the way up, all the way down.

When I first started going into the family court system and dealing with my own personal thing, I hired an attorney who I truly felt was a good person and who was honest and looking out for me and my son.

Money is what makes the family court system go around and all its little umbrella entities. You know, CPS, gals, judges, attorneys, they're all built off the same fucking foundation.

His ex-wife's sister said they were never going to let him have the kids, which made him angry. He considered getting a divorce to take it to court, but he wanted to respect the Amish culture. His ex-wife reacted by throwing herself on the ground and scratching and screaming. The kids were present, and they reacted by trying to hug her and make her feel better. The supervisor of the visitation said this was a normal way to get a point across. The speaker does not believe this is normal anywhere, and does not believe it is normal in Amish culture either.

It's time for another episode of the Fathers truth. I am Alan Donovan. So let me ask you this. Before we get going here. What do you guys think of when you hear the word stem? Now, growing up, you know, we were always encouraged to think about step moms as being those evil women that come into a family tear the family apart is horrible people. That's what we see in Hollywood. That's what we see all over the place. Now, it's been my experience since I started doing this that step moms are not evil. They're not evil at all. They're actually some of the most downhearted big hearted, most open minded women out there that, you know, just want to be a part of the family. So with that being said, Today, I have Christina on she is the founder and host of the radical step moms podcast. She's a wife, a mom, a step mom. And she started the radical step mounts podcast to provide step moms a safe space to talk about the good, the bad, and really ugly moments about raising a child. They didn't create. She's also a licensed clinical therapist.
