Nadyne Kasta is an artist, producer and art director who has been working in various creative fields over 25 years. She recently launched Project 50, a series of portraits and interviews with women age 50. In this episode we talk about how the age 50 is portrayed in popular culture, and the reality of the many different ways it can look. 

Caitlin Kiernan is a journalist, producer, and beauty director who has spent her career working in the fashion and beauty industries. In this episode, Cait tells us about her experience working in the beauty industry, her experience with aging, and how she is challenging the pressure to 'stay youthful' and the ‘maintenance’ that the beauty industry creates.

Robin went from a career in tech to having her work as a photographer and make up artist in publications like Vogue, Vogue Italia, Elle, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Interview, L’Officiel, and Vanity Fair. Lucky Bromhead is a Toronto-based makeup artist with over 20 years of experience in Film and TV, as well as celebrity and editorial makeup. Lucky was nominated for an Emmy in 2020 and a Canadian Screen Award in 2021 for her work on Schitt’s Creek, working with Catherine O’Hara to create the look for, the much beloved, Moira Rose. In this episode we discuss experiences and evolutions in life through makeup, change through dialogue and working on Schitt's Creek.

Dee started And Bloom to shine a light on the beauty of aging women and the stories behind it. While looking in the mirror can be challenging as she ages, all around her she sees beauty in older women. She shares with us her experience of acceptance and finding beauty in the imperfections.

Ted Belton is a photographer based in Toronto. Ted has a unique interest in and ability to connect with people, using his camera to capture real moments, human emotion and personality. Ted’s work has been published in Rolling Stone, Kinfolk, The Times Magazine, Elle Decor, Behind The Blinds, Montecristo, Men’s Fashion, and S/Magazine. Included among his other clients are Rakuten Kobo, Nespresso, Anheuser-Busch, 19/99 Beauty, VDL Cosmetics, Coty, and Rimmel London.

Ted works in collaboration with 19/99 to create their campaign images, and has been a continuous support and a part of 19/99’s development.
