OVERVIEW

In this segment of How To See Energy we review the practice of The Dragon Mediation. In this meditation we tap on a vast energetic resource. Over millennia Taoists have used this practice to cultivate a relationship with a powerful archetypal energy. This energetic entity which symbolizes the quintessence of Heaven energy can be worked with to heal mind and body, open the energy centers, and effect change in our inner and outer worlds. Remember the Taoist principle: stagnation bad, movement good. This meditation is primarily aimed at creating flow where there is stagnation. As your confidence with this meditation grows you may use it to perform healings on others.

0:30 - The Dragon Meditation can be used for many purposes.

1:30 - We begin our description of the meditation starting with posture.

2:15 - The bridges that we use in this practice that help us create a link between where we are physically and where we go in the meditation. These details allow the mind to bring the two places together and create a deeper experience with greater benefits.

3:30  - Most of the time people are do not really think that what they are doing in their meditations are changing them and their environment on a physical level. Yet that is exactly what we are expecting and intending. We discuss some of the ways we enhance these effects.

17:00 - On speaking your intent and being specific: in this case, speaking to the dragon, and in this instance, for seeing energy. Brian’s thoughts on making this part personal.

21:30 - The dragon may do more than blow fire. The changes in coloration that should be visualized during this clearing process.

1:30 - Having your energy stagnated is "the opposite of seeing energy." Any exercise that incorporates "strength, flexibility, and balance" and consciously coordinates breathing and movement is so helpful and important.

2:00 - “The Harmony of The Universe” performed with closed eyes can facilitate a "view of colors, or light."

3:30 - One of the most common colors to see is purple. However, any light or color you perceive behind your closed eyes during the practice can be focused on and enhanced. This will be discussed in greater detail in the 3rd eye meditation segment of the program.

Overview

In How To See Energy (Part 7) - The Throat Chakra: Master Key of Seeing Energy and How To See Energy (Part 11) - Waking Up The Throat Chakra we discussed two techniques for stimulating the throat chakra: Wind-Breathing, and the Humming or Buzzing technique. We also discussed how important the throat chakra is as a means of opening the third eye.

Now that we have spent some time toning the energy of the throat chakra we will use these techniques to practice the “The Third Eye Initiation.” In this exercise we stimulate a flow of energy in the third eye by ‘linking’ the throat and third eye chakras together.

This “Initiation” practice is an important exercise that prepares us for the “Third Eye Meditation” which will help us to further open and develop the third eye for seeing energy.

1:20 - Are we seeing energy with our physical eyes? No, but when you see energy it appears as though it is happening with your eyes and you see just as real as if the energy is being physically perceived. It's an important point because we need to understand that seeing is not about making your eyes better... it has nothing to do with them as the physical organ. The Throat Chakra is actually the master key to stimulating and enhancing the other chakras. But we have to ‘cut’ the key first, before we can use it to open other aspects of our energy body.

Throughout this program we are working on the ability to see energy. The obvious energy center associated with seeing is the third eye, but how do we ‘turn it on?’

It may seem counterintuitive but the throat center is our primary chakra for consciously re-directing the flow of energy within our system as well as making connections with energies outside of us.

In this segment of the program we introduce a simple technique that helps to stimulate and tone the throat chakra so we can utilize it, in this case, for opening the third eye.

1:45 - On sitting down to actually write out: "What do you want, and Why do you want it?"... and the difference between this analysis process and contemplation. 

3:00 - On the purpose of doing this exercise from a practical perspective and communicating your desire clearly to the subconscious.

6:00 - On the "why" being so important to know, because the motivation is the only thing that will drive you to make the necessary sacrifices and commitment to the goal, to make it happen.

It’s not often that Brian will discuss the energy work he does for his private clients. Brian does healing work but also, in rare cases, he provides energetic protection for people who are being accosted or directly attacked. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of this work, is that it is all done through lucid dreaming.
