She then earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performing Arts, as well as Political Science, from the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she now sits on the Dean’s Advisory Board.

She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career scoring roles on TV shows including: Netflix shows Cobra Kai and Legacies, NBC’s Southland, WB’s 'Boomerang, and ABC’s Queens. Royal Banks is an active duty military officer and owner of Assurance DNA, a mobile paternity testing service currently based in El Paso, TX.

He is a 2013 graduate of Tuskegee University, where he commissioned as a Captain in the US Army with a degree in English.

Royal has always been entrepreneurial and creative. At 10 years old, he started a lawn care service.
