360 UNIVERSITY PODCAST

In this lesson/episode, 360 and Kool Rock jump right into the issue at hand...the death of our brother George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The country has been experiencing civil unrest in the form of marches, and, looting and violent protests. We explore the root of the issues and talk about possible solutions as we move forward with prayers and hope. In addition, the COVID-19 is still lurking and we examine how we will deal with this issue on top of the current state of affairs that are plaguing the United States and beyond. Sadly, on January 26, 2020, the world lost Kobe Bryant. He entered the NBA in 1996 as a rookie straight out of Lower Merion High School in Philadelphia, PA. Through the years, he had an illustrious 20 year career winning multiple championships, all-star appearances, and other prestigious awards. Also, on this day 8 other people were tragically killed including his daughter Gianna Bryant an up and coming basketball star that was following in her dad's footsteps. In this episode, the 360 University team pay our respects to Kobe and remember him heavy hearts, but with thanks that we were able to witness his life, skills, and talents. Prayers go out to his beautiful wife Vanessa and his 3 other precious daughters.

Sadly, on October 29th, we lost one of the most important comedians/entertainers of our time. Widely known for his roles in popular films such as Boomerang, and Friday as well as TV shows like The Wayans Brothers and The Boondocks (Voice), John Witherspoon made us laugh 'till our sides hurt!! His legacy will live on and we at 360 University, are doing our part in that mission. Rest in Peace to Mr. Witherspoon...Check out Lesson 5 as we pay homage to him and some of his funniest moments.
