He will be returning to the West End as ‘Hades’ in the Tony and Grammy winning musical, HADESTOWN. The Broadway musical is making its long-awaited London premiere, and follows the entwining mythic tale of two love stories between Orpheus and Eurydice and that of King Hades of the Underworld and his wife Persephone. After majoring in Musical Theatre at Ithaca College, James made his Broadway debut in CORAM BOY at the Imperial Theatre before playing ‘Thomas Hassinger’ in the original cast of the Tony Award winning production of SOUTH PACIFIC (Lincoln Center). Ep 240: How To Be Anxiety Free Forever - Daniel Packard (Anxiety Solutions Pioneer)

Ep 240: How To Be Anxiety Free Forever - Daniel Packard (Anxiety Solutions Pioneer)

Daniel Packard is a U.C. Berkeley Mechanical Engineer and CEO of Permanent Anxiety Solutions
whose research company engineered world's only permanent anxiety solution program where you only pay at the end of the program, once you have
clear, measurable results.
Daniel's passion for inventing and results came from his father. As a child growing up in Berkeley, CA, Daniel's father (who was a scientist and inventor) told a 10 year old Daniel two things that stuck with him for the rest of his life. His dad told him 'If something isn't working, invent something
better.' And 'If you want to really make people's lives better...results matter.'
After, staying in an abusive relationship too long, Daniel ended up with severe anxiety and PSTD. After spending 10 years and $100,000 trying solve his anxiety he learned that a trillion dollars is spent globally on mental health, but not getting people in pain permanent results. Remembering what his dad told him, that 'results matter' and because he was trained in engineering school to know how to engineer solutions to complex problems, Daniel took a stand against the mental health industry and started his own research company with the
goal to see if it was possible to reverse engineer a Full
Bio.rtf
process from scratch that could solve anxiety permanently in a short period of time. Daniel and his team were not therapists or doctors or psychologists. They were not traditional experts, they were outsiders. Because they were
outsiders they were open to discovering what the experts had missed.

Based on this discovery Daniel and his team spent a total of 8 years, working with over 3000 people (from 5 continents) to develop, test and perfect an innovative 6-week program that in just 6 weeks solves all forms of anxiety permanently with an industry leading 90% success rate. This 6-week program called Nervous System Reset
has helped hundreds of individual clients but also over 3000 people at over 300 companies and universities all over the world.

Ep 238: Masking Your Depression - Dr Margaret Rutherford Ph.D - (Clinical Psychologist, TedX Speaker)

Ep 238: Masking Your Depression - Dr Margaret Rutherford Ph.D - (Clinical Psychologist, TedX Speaker)

Margaret Robinson Rutherford Ph.D., a clinical psychologist with thirty years of experience, is also an author, TedX speaker, and podcast host. Her book, Perfectly Hidden Depression: How to Break Free from the Perfectionism That Masks Your Depression, has reached thousands here in the US, as well as having an international impact, with translations reaching from Korea to Italy, Turkey to Germany. Her highly popular podcast, The SelfWork Podcast, has been continuously rated as one of the best podcasts for mental health and depression.

Dr. Margaret’s known for her vibrantly engaging and theoretically well-crafted presentations, whether live or virtual. Whether her diverse audiences are made up of mental health professionals, construction workers, or office managers, her passionate message is that healthy mental and emotional lives can be created through becoming more transparent with one another. Sharing who you really are with those you trust is a huge step toward connection and good mental health. Rates of depression and suicide are skyrocketing. And there’s something we can do!

She’s further challenging the mental health profession to question their overreliance on the official symptom checklist for diagnosis. Instead, we need to create normalcy around suicidal feelings, listen to each person’s actual experience of their life, and respond with safety and compassion, rather than stigmatizing this very real and excruciatingly painful part of human existence

I teach you the secrets to bantering online. Consider me your communication coach. I will help you determine who your best matches are and why and help you connect with them online.

Think of me as your right hand wing woman.

I will teach you the secrets to online banter and help you determine who your best matches are and how to communicate with them.

We work together for the entire four months.  You have total control over who you want to talk with, how the conversations are going, and who you want to delete. We’re in it together in constant communication, so there are no surprises.  You can call or text me along the way, for advice on anything from wardrobe suggestions to first date role playing to analysis of how a budding connection is going.

Tim as a writer

As a Professor in Genetic Epidemiology at King’s College London, and the leader of the world’s largest identical twins study, TWINS UK, Tim wrote his best-selling book ‘Identically Different’ which makes understanding genetic traits and how our environment impacts our genes, easy for anyone to grasp.

His next book ‘The Diet Myth’ was the first introduction on the importance of the gut microbiome for human health for a wide non-scientific audience. It became an international bestseller and remains a brilliant insight to the unique way each of us interacts with food through our microbes.

More recently, ‘Spoon Fed’ offers the latest evidence on food science and personalised nutrition, the impact of our food environment and how profits and policy impact our dinner tables with a pragmatic, real-life approach.

Tim’s upcoming book, ‘Food for Life….’ is his most extensive yet, taking an in-depth look at all of the latest scientific evidence on what we eat, how we eat it and why; and how we can use this knowledge to improve our own personal nutrition.

Ep 219: Having The Best Smile To Increase Confidence - Dr.Rhona Eskander (CEO - London's Most Sought After Dental Practices)

Ep 219: Having The Best Smile To Increase Confidence - Dr.Rhona Eskander (CEO - London's Most Sought After Dental Practices)

In 1989, a 2-year-old Rhona Eskander and her Christian parents fled Saudia Arabia. With £10 left in their pocket, they sought refuge in the UK and worked in entry level medical positions before working their way up. Giving their ambitious child everything they could, these parents helped shape one of the UK’s most successful medical professionals, Dr Rhona Eskander. Now CEO of one of London’s most sought after dental practices, she’s responsible for so many celebrity smiles from Rochelle Humes and Mel B to more NDA clients from the biggest Hollywood actors and humanitarians that could be put into an email. Founder of the fastest growing toothpaste company Pärla, Rhona’s eco-friendly product is stocked everywhere from Boots to Sainsburys to Waitrose and has removed all the harmful stuff that’s in our normal toothpaste that we don’t know about. Dr Rhona’s story is one of ambition, resilience, determination to fix medical injustices.

Dr Rhona is everything a stereotypical medical professional isn’t who’s had a dream of becoming a dentist since aged 12. Rhona has created a dental empire, without the Dragon’s Den 30% equity offer that she turned down on Pärla, and is using her position to fix the deeply flawed system where huge injustices exist. From un-regulated online braces and teeth whitening practices, to the Turkey Teeth trend, the lack of knowledge surrounding dentistry is putting people’s teeth and lives at risk where there’s a direct relationship in the sky rocketing gum disease and tooth decay issues to health conditions such as diabetes, infection and heart disease. In a time where 90% of dentists are not taking on new NHS patients, the psychological impact of bad teeth and dental hygiene means people are searching for cheaper methods, often putting their safety at risk.

Rhona provides free treatment for those that have no more options, recently stepping in to save a woman’s life who had botched dental treatment in Turkey. She speaks out on the lack of access to dentistry, having struggled to get in herself due to prejudices against her eccentric style where she wasn’t taken seriously. Initially working in a demoralising NHS system, she moved to a struggling private clinic, gave it an overhaul, and turned it into a successful business.

Not afraid to put her head above the parapet, she’s fascinating, is making a difference, genuinely cares about the issues in the industry that affect us all.

He boasts a legendary career spanning over four decades encompassing catwalk, editorial and advertising campaigns for fashion houses such as Chanel, Fendi, Balmain, Burberry and Tom Ford. A regular contributor to both British and international Vogues, W, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, i-D and Love, he has over 100 covers to his name from British Vogue alone. McKnight is also a Contributing Beauty Editor at British Vogue.

McKnight has collaborated with some of the world’s most prominent photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino and Nick Knight. A long-time stylist for the late Princess Diana, McKnight was the creative behind her iconic short, slicked back hairstyle in the now-famous 1990 Demarchelier shoot for British Vogue, a partnership that led to him becoming her personal hair stylist for seven years.

One of the original session stylists, McKnight initially trained as a teacher before working as an assistant at a local hairdresser in his native Scotland. Moving to London in the early 1970’s, McKnight secured a position at Molton Brown, which at the time was a leading hair salon in London’s South Molton Street. He worked on projects for London-based magazines 19 and Honey before landing his first editorial shoot with British Vogue in 1977. While working in London, he was introduced to stylists Liz Tilberis (later editor of British Vogue and Harpers Bazaar US) and Lucinda Chambers (British Vogue), who were instrumental in hiring him for high-profile editorial shoots.

McKnight has been bestowed the Lifetime Achievement Award at both the Scottish Fashion Awards and Creative Head Awards 2015. He is hugely respected within the hairdressing community and is often cited as a source of inspiration or named as ‘the hairstylist I would most like to work with’ by his peers.

On November 2nd 2016, Somerset House launched Hair by Sam McKnight, a major exhibition celebrating McKnight’s impressive career. Never before has an exhibition of this kind taken place, looking at hair from a new perspective and celebrating the significant role of session hair styling in both fashion and culture throughout the decades.

In tandem, McKnight also released his first book: Hair by Sam McKnight (Rizzoli), a hardback anthology of his magazine covers, editorial shoots and personal insights into working at the heart of the fashion industry.

June 2017 saw McKnight launch a brand: Hair by Sam McKnight, in Liberty of London, injecting fashion, glamour and ease into haircare and styling.
