Ron Howard's "Hillbilly Elegy," released on Netflix in November of 2020, features incredible performances by a cast led by Amy Adams and Glenn Close (who was nominated for both an Oscar and a Razzie). But it's controversy over it's portrayal of Appalachia and the "hillbilly" marred it from he beginning. That said, Kim and Michael still watched it in honor of the annual Academy Awards, flipped a coin, and attempted to debate whether this was good or bad. 1997's "Home Alone 3" is heavy on the violence, misogyny, and poorly crafted geopolitical subplot. This week's Christmas movie, suggested by Michael's friend Eric, failed to tick any boxes for Michael and Kim.

2016's "Suicide Squad" had all the hype of being a great movie, with an A-list cast including Will Smith and Margot Robbie. We've come to the end of a month of bad Bond films, and finish with 1985's "A View To A Kill." Roger Moore's final outing as Bond was easily the worst of the franchise, as even Christopher Walken couldn't save this poorly written and acted escapade.

As we continue a month of reviewing bad James Bond movies, we find ourselves at 1983's "Octopussy." The second to last Roger Moore film may have been engrossing to watch, but in review, had several issues including one-dimensional characters, and a fatherly looking James Bond.
