Episode 8 - Major Changes to Youth Service
Happy New Year! For the first episode of 2019, we have Pastor Cristobal on to talk about some major changes to the Youth ministry at NYCAC and how it involves us at 3Stone. The current structure for Youth Service has been in place for as long as I remember and starting now in 2019, it will move in a “no turning back” change that God willing will yield an bountiful harvest down the road. We sat down with Pastor Cristobal to discuss the reasons leading to the change, the major concerns raised, and how us at 3Stone can partner with him in this exciting path forward.
This episode is also the last episode of season 1 of this Podcast. 3 Stone stories. It’s been amazing putting together these stories of our congregation and we’re looking forward to season 2. Season 1 was about learning and experimenting, moving forward, we would like to build on top of that and create more interesting stories. If you would like to be involved, please feel free to contact me. We’re looking to build a creative team to generate many ideas for great stories.

Episode 7 - Thanksgiving Special! Being Thankful at NYCAC: Our Pastors
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! We are so thankful that we’ve been able to be able to produce these episodes and chat with all of our guests. It’s been a lot of fun. For this special Thanksgiving episode, we caught up with the Pastors of our whole church, NYCAC, and they shared things that happened this year that they were particularly thankful for. It was so much fun talking to each of them and hearing stories from their ministries to their personal lives. Sit back and enjoy!

Episode 6 - Understanding Mental Health at 3Stone: Sook Yee Yeung
Over the last couple of years, the topic of mental health has gotten more spotlight and attention not only across the nation, but also within the community of our church. In fact, many of us at 3Stone knows someone or has known someone who has dealt with or managing mental health conditions of their own. It’s something that’s dynamic and can impact anyone at any time. To that end, we brought in Sook Yee to talk about the issue. She has over a decade of experience working in the field, and on this episode she shares with us sources that impact mental health, ways to walk alongside sisters and brothers who might be dealing with mental health conditions, why it’s not something to be afraid of, and best practices for us to maintain proper mental health.

Episode 5 - Being the Evangelism Lead for 4 years at 3Stone: Michael Tsang
On this episode, I got to talk to Michael Tsang about these last 4 years being our Evangelism MT at 3Stone. During our conversation, we talked about how he did things differently from previous Evangelism MTs, his proudest accomplishment during his tenure and the temperature for serving at 3stone. Also, instead of giving listeners a piece of advice, he reads a letter that he has written to his younger self. Episode 4 - Being a Female leader and FF champion at 3Stone: Amanda Oey
This week, we got to sit down with Amanda Oey, many of you know her as our 3 Stone Caring MT, but among other things, she is the reigning champion and the first female champion of our Official NYCAC Fantasy Football league!
In this episode, we got to talk to her about her experience winning in the league, and she makes the case for Fantasy Football as a ministry and why women should play in it.
The conversation then shifted to how it is for her being a leader in environments where it’s mainly composed of men. We then got to talk about our opinions on where we are as a church in supporting female leaders, and the unique next steps that we can take to continue to do so.
Finally, using her experience from the world of PR, she shares advice on how to manage a personal brand.

In this episode, we have Joseph Wu (Jojo), our first ever intern at 3 Stone. He is a seminarian about to complete his final year at Gordon Conwell Seminary.
We get to hear from Jojo what it was like coming back to his home church as an intern, how he practiced mediator and reconciliation when conflicts arose during the summer school program, how it was like running VBS all by himself, his post seminary plans including what he's looking for in a mentor. Finally, Jojo gives us advice on intergenerational relationships, working with the youth, and even long-distance relationships.
