I've discussed changes coming to the show for a while. And now those changes are here. With each new episode, I will take a randomly selected club or national team and conduct a mini-profile. This is something that I wanted to do for a very long time. I hope you guys will enjoy this new format. Thank you so much for sticking with me and the podcast.

93. Slow start to the Summer
Thanks for listening!
92. It's been far too long!
The show is back. I am back in Germany. Back in this soccer / football (fussball) mad country. VfB Stuttgart has survived and will remain in the Bundesliga. Lionel Messi has moved from Ligue 1 and Paris Saint-Germain to Major League Soccer side Inter Miami. Saudi Arabia has continued to scoop up some of the best names in Europe.
Email the show at 90plusET@gmail.com
Bonus: Congratulations Real Madrid
Real Madrid are the new champions of Europe after defeating Liverpool 1-0 in Paris in the UEFA Champions League.
91. Yes, the show is still alive!
90. We made it to 90!
We are at the start of the final international break of 2021. Koeman is out and Xavi is in at Barcelona. Ole still has a job, but is seat is very hot. My son's team got their first win of the season. I'm beginning the process to become a certified grassroots football referee. I briefly got over the tables for the top leagues in Europe. Oh, and I complain about how having the FIFA World Cup every 2 years is a really bad idea.
Thanks for listening.
89. Finally saw my national team play!
In this episode, I spend 10 minutes trying to explain how exciting it was to finally see the United States Men's National Team play in person. I attended the World Cup Qualifying match against Jamaica in Austin, Texas. 18 year old Ricardo Pepi from FC Dallas in the MLS was the star of the match, netting 2 goals. Newcastle United have become the newest club with billion dollar owners and have the chance to become the team to beat in not only England, but in Europe over the next 5 years. Neymar has said that the 2022 World Cup will be his last.
Thanks for listening.
88. Not the Barcelona that I used to know!
I try to explain why I haven't put out an episode in a while, while trying to explain my trip to Schenectady, New York. We are headed into another international break. Barcelona and Real Madrid are struggling to not only do well in La Liga, but also in the UEFA Champions League. At the moment, Barcelona are the favorites to win the Europa League.....which they aren't even playing (yet). VfB Stuttgart have not started off their season well. Thanks for listening.
87. A drama filled transfer window.
Ronaldo makes the return to the club that created CR7, Manchester United. Lukaku is back at Chelsea. Messi makes his debut for Paris Saint-Germain. Mbappe will have to wait to make the move to Real Madrid. Italy seem to be unbeatable. We now have the final draw for the UEFA Europa Conference League, the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Champions League. The first international break of the season is upon us, and there is plenty of drama between Brazil and Argentina that has nothing to do with play on the pitch. The USA are two games into to their World Cup qualifying campaign and they are sitting at 2 points. Thanks for listening.
86. Things can't get any Messi-er!
Congratulations to the USWNT for their bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics and to the USMNT for their win over Mexico in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Summer of Football was not a disappointment. Lionel Messi is not longer a member of Barcelona. He seems likely to head to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days. VfB Stuttgart are moving on in the DFB-Pokal. The club season has officially started and I have high hopes for VfB Stuttgart this year. Thanks for listening.
85. Sorry for the delay!
It has been far too long since the last episode. There has been so much football over the last 6 weeks. Italy are the new champions of Europe! Argentina are the new champions of South America! Messi finally has his continental championship. The CONCACAF Gold Cup has just started. The new European league seasons are right around the corner! Thank you for listening and sticking with the show during this longer than expected hiatus.
84. Bring on the continental championships!
The European season has come to an end. Atlético Madrid and Lille were the biggest surprises fo the season. While Chelsea were able to stun a heavily favored Manchester City team to become the well deserving Club Champions of Europe. The upcoming Super Cups are set. Zidane is once again leaving Real Madrid, and hopefully he'll end up at PSG. The CONMEBOL is having a difficult time finding a place to stage the already delayed Copa América. Thanks for listening.
83. Will VfB Stuttgart be playing in Europe next season?
Manchester City and Chelsea are in the latest version of the UEFA Champions League all Premier League Final. Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Sporting CP, and Manchester City have won their respective league. Borussia Dortmund are winners of the DFB-Pokal. La Liga, and Ligue 1 are coming down to the final match days to determine their league winners. Will Cristiano Ronaldo leave Juventus if they finish outside of the Champions League places? Karim Benzema gets selected to play for France after six years away from the team. The UEFA European Championship, the CONMEBOL Copa America, and the CONCACAF Gold Cup are all coming up. VfB Stuttgart needs a lot of help to get to the UEFA Europa Conference League, but there's still a chance. Thanks for listening.
82. Not so Super League!
These greedy owners really tried to not only create a closed Super League in Europe, but they tried to change the game forever. Greed, financial losses due to COVID-19, and a lack of understanding the desires of fans led to this. Let's hope that this is the last time we ever hear about a European Super League.

81. European seasons slowly winding down.
Paris Saint-Germain are still trying to get to the top of Ligue 1. Manchester City stumble against Leeds United, despite leading in most categories. I go on a very unnecessary tangent regarding FIFA Ultimate Team because of a terrible game between Brighton & Hove Albion and Everton. The Swiss Super League has a small amount of teams, but could be a very interesting league to follow. Thanks for listening.

80. Real Sociedad get to be winners for a very limited time.
The year of 2 Copa del Rey Finals. I did a lot of babbling in this episode. Is it OK for me to make a switch from being an Arsenal supporter to becoming a supporter of Manchester City? COVID-19 is still forcing players to miss matches and remains a threat to future matches and tournaments. The European League seasons are slowly coming to a close, and it looks like VfB Stuttgart is going to avoid relegation. Thanks for listening.

79. Portugal and Germany, the talk of the international break!
It seems like it's been so long since we've had international football. UEFA World Cup qualifying is in full swing. Why is VAR not being used during World Cup qualifying? The teams for the Africa Cup of Nations is set (with the exception on the final team). The US Men's National Team had a decent international break. It seemed weird not seeing Brazil and Argentina during this break. Thanks for listening.

78. First international break of 2021!
As the world breaks for International competition Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Atlético Madrid, and Intern sit atop the top 5 leagues in Europe. The quarterfinals for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League are set. There is talk of the creation of the BeNeLeague, combining the leagues of Belgium and the Netherlands. There is plenty of national team games, as most teams will play 3 matches during the break. Thanks for listening!

77. It’s over for the Old Lady!
I picked Juventus to win the UEFA Champions League, but they were knocked out by Porto. Manchester City loses the Manchester Derby to Manchester United. Texas is opening up everything today. Once again the Copa America is in trouble. Löw decides to move on from the German national team after the European Championship this summer. Thanks for listening.
PSN ID: FutbolboyRH
76. What's the final count?
I ramble on and on about a bunch of random stuff. VfB Stuttgart are holding on strong after a 5-1 win over Schalke. Lille remain on top of Ligue 1. My pronunciation of teams in the Dutch Eredivise is improving. The round of 16 in the UEFA Europa League is set. Thanks for listening.
PSN ID: FutbolboyRH
75. Dreaming of a COVID-free world!
The second leg for some of the UEFA Champions League matches will be very interesting. The UEFA Europa League also has some very interesting games. I try to pronounce the names of all of the team in the Dutch Eredivise. The Copa America just got some more bad news due to COVID-19. I am so tired of talking about COVID-19. Thanks for listening.

There has been a football in a jam packed January. Paris Saint-Germain are back on top of Ligue 1 and win the French Super Cup. Leicester City are showing that they can still win the Premier League as Liverpool continue to drop points. Bayern Munich get dropped from DFB-Pokal. It's an all Brazil Final in the Copa Libertadores. Barcelona continue to struggle after losing the Spanish Super Cup Final to Athletic Club. Özil finally moves on from Arsenal. Wayne Rooney is now a full time manager. Thanks for listening.

2020 is finally behind us and we have a great year of football to look forward to. The Winter transfer market is open, so let the crazy rumors begin! Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo both go pass Pelé. Paris Saint-Germain finally have a new manager, and a decent chance to finally win the UEFA Champions League. The semifinals for the Copa Libertadores are set. Will Brexit hurt the game in England? Thanks for listening.
71. The end of 2020 episode
I am so glad that 2020 is coming to an end. Hopefully, 2021 will be the beginning of a much needed (somewhat) return to what we considered normal before COVID-19 came to dominate our lives. I can't wait to see a football match in person! I want to thank all of you that take to time to listen to the show. I appreciate every single one of you. Thanks for listening.

Just a brief overview of the teams that have qualified for the knockout stages of the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. Thanks for listening.
