A place where you can hear my ramblings on PTSD, Depression as well as daily observations and challenges about what it is like to navigate the murky waters of life while swimming among the "normals"...
Today was kind of a rough one for me. It was a day of unique and potent challenges and with that comes repercussion, rumination and introspective brooding - things I excel at!
In this long winded and somewhat chaotic episode, I try to come to some kind of philosophic answer - come, join me!
On this episode I read for you something that I am currently working on and am hoping to published into an upcoming book that I hope to release or at least finalize this year.
This is called Jackets. I will not say too much more about the piece itself, but I would like to say that this piece was read within the confines of my newly constructed sound booth!
It's not complete but the audio should be noticeably better (especially with earphones).
Have a listen, see what you think!
On this episode I think back to my bro-trip with my best buddy, Drew, to New York City!
What an epic time it was; we got drunk with the creators of the show: How I Met Your Mother, won free Letterman Tickets, saw Tom Hanks, got drunk and puked outside of a cab that in turn left us for dead on the side of the lower east side... good times!
This episode consists of a blog read that was written after our most recent book signing.
Something really positive happened to me while I was out at the book signing and I felt the need to write some things down... so I did.
Check em out, on this episode of, A Medic's Mind The Podcast!
On this episode you can hear me speak about our latest book signing as well as learn about where and when our next one will be!
(Spoiler - Brampton, Ontario - Quarry Edge Chapters).
Listen to it here, on A Medic's Mind The Podcast!
I recently had a conversation with a good buddy of mine about a medical drama on TV. He asked me a question related to one of the treatment modalities and it got me to thinking about how my brain used to work when in, Medic Mode. I loved it!!
On this episode you can hear me discuss the good, the glorious and the positive yet ruminative things about some of the things I love and miss about being a paramedic.
On this episode I am speaking with Nick from, lifeexperienceofnick.com.
We discuss depression and what that means to us, as well as diving into our usage of alcohol and the negatives of waking up on that side of the bed.
Stick around, this is a fun one with some serious talk and a few chuckles in there too!
On this episode I have the one and only, Natalie Harris! Author of, Save My Life School and Daily Lessons From Save My Life School as well as, Brainstorm Revolution!
We discuss all this Brainstorm as well as chuckling about her adventures of taking the bus...
Have a listen and please, be sure to check out these links to see if you can support some great causes;

Half way to 100, what better way to hit the halfway point than with an episode of, Bro Talk!
On this episode you will hear us discuss celebrities working on the ambulance, books, stripper stories and our thoughts on love and romance... buckle up, this might get bumpy...
On this episode I read from a blog that I wrote over at, www.amedicsmind.com. I had a horrible sleep, a slumber enamoured by nightmare and pernicious memory recall. I speak about it all on this episode.
On this episode, you will hear me orate why I think depression is just a big ol' bag of dicks and a bold faced liar!
You will also hear me talk about puppies, porno and leg lamps... strap in (no pun intended) it's gonna be a show!
A read from my latest blog over at, amedicsmind.com. This is my first venture into fiction writing and it just felt a little more fitting than anything that I have been writing and thinking on lately.
Enjoy! And Merry Christmas!!
I was recently interviewed by a local radio station for the promotion of the book, Brainstorm Revolution, and it was... interesting. An overall great experience, but some unique turbulence within it also.
You can have a listen here.
Another installment of, Not So Serious, this one is called: There Was A Guy Named, Jason...
This is a story motivated by the man himself. He brought this story to my attention and thus caused an immediate call to introspect in the fondest of ways.
Have a listen and learn a little about a man who is indeed, not so small...
On this episode, I talk about depression and how it manifests itself within me. This is a blog read episode and admittedly there are some inconsistencies with the audio, but it's listen-able... yeah...
