I even did the cabbage soup diet, multiple times. I lost so much weight, and then slowly, within 1-2 months, regained it because I thought I had arrived! 

I was desperate to get control of my weight. 

My desperation led to hopelessness the older that I got. Now, at 51, I'm the smallest I've been as an adult. I've lost the weight, and even kept it off. 

It wasn't easy to get here, and I didn't get here via the conventional means of following all that fad diets and listening to all the bro science.
