We, Claire and Christian, members of the Commission Agriculture and Rural Development, met two persons working along the food chain production in Germany. We spoke with them about what sustainability means for them and which challenges they are facing. We focussed on generation renewal and the conflict between the economic and the environmental dimension of sustainability. The issues are big and we could have discuss much longer!
