Did y'all know that everyone has a pelvic floor!? And that, the integrity of (or lack thereof) our pelvic floors is largely connected to how we breathe!? July 15, 2020
We sat down with April Dawn Harter, LCSW—founder of what was formally known as the Racism Recovery Center, now the Narcissism Recovery Center, as well as the creator of The Racist Signature Theory. Her incredible work is about approaching/healing racism from a psychological, trauma-informed, stance. We believe in April’s mission as being a vital piece to dismantling white supremacy. How Do We Talk About Racism? Let’s Check In.
After a pause, we’re ready to check in. As we've expressed before, we come to the mic on a mission to explore all layers of life with healthy humility and vulnerability. Continuing conversation about the deep roots of racism, white privilege, antiracism work, etc. is no exception. And we’re here to always process everything quite imperfectly, for we believe in what sharing our humanness provides: a connection to healing together.  We're still here to make you laugh, too. We're here to be ourselves.

We are currently navigating an intense time as a global community. Folks who work in Healthcare are on the front lines, doing what they can to look out for all of us, like Margaret’s incredible brother—Mike Romano! We sat down with him last year around this time and had a great convo, which included how he started as a CNA at 17 years old, to now leading as a hospital administrator in Denver, CO. Enjoy this thoughtful, honest interview with Margaret’s oldest brother.
March 18, 2020
We sat down with Andrea's big brother, Conrad! He's real, he's funny, he's awesome. We attempted to discuss A LOT, especially with regards to Conrad’s vocation in law enforcement. His opinions are of his own. These conversations, as complex as they are, are ones that we will continue to approach with much curiosity. Our intention here is to hold a space that represents a wide group of humans & their experiences. We look forward to continuing these very real and very powerful conversations!
March 04, 2020
We know these things for sure: 1. We can get really serious, but we won’t take ourselves too seriously. 2. We want to stay curious and we want to explore. "Explore what, exactly?", you may ask. We're not really sure - take it easy.

Leave a Message.
Sometimes you don’t have any other choice except to be your biggest fan! If we don’t embrace the ongoing journey of knowing and seeing ourselves, then what is the point?! Andrea and Margaret want to give you a glimpse into an intimate portrait of what it has taken for them to embark on the journey of podcast life; the emotional rollercoaster, the mundane, and the pep talks that have them wanting to keep showing UP. Episode 7 is the first edition of “Leave A Message”—brought to you by Margaret and Andrea’s ongoing Voice Notes to each other; the uncurated, uncharted, undeniably raw back and forth of how these two do what they have to do to believe in themselves.
December 23, 2019
Episode 6! So here’s the deal: Andrea brings up consumerism alongside the fuckin’ holidays but, Margaret‘s not feeling it. They agree that there are more important things to navigate other than consumerism, like their own mortality and “blah blah blah”. Margaret and Andrea like to now refer to their classic banter as, Motivational Comedy!

Get Yourself a Nurse Practitioner Like Shannon!
Margaret and Andrea sit down with their extraordinary friend, Shannon, for intimate dialogue about her journey to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Shannon provides insight on how she strives to support her community as a care provider when it comes to matters of education, gender, race, socio economic background, etc. Overall, this discussion touches on what they all believe to be relevant and important to acknowledge for our human well-being of these current times. This is a personal yet informative conversation, two components that Andrea and Margaret both greatly value whenever they sit down at their table with people. PLEASE NOTE—this episode contains detailed points and sensitive information regarding Anatomy, Consent, and Sexuality. Margaret and Andrea want to be clear: when talking about topics such as Consent and the like, they are referring to ALL people regardless of gender.

People Still Do Chatrooms, OK.
Episode 2 of “Let's Do This!” is more flavor of what it's like when Andrea and Margaret sit down at the mic on any given night. This time they’re bantering about being grounded as a coupla kids, regretting tattoos, having boundaries around horror films, and have moments of questioning their culture. Somehow these two know how to make it work with their classic riffing energy. Stay till the end for a few solid shoutouts!   Comin' up:  Andrea and Margaret will be sharing interviews that they've recorded this year with a handful of real-life-superstars! And of course there’s more of their hilarious riffing magic as they continue to break down the spectrum of life together.
