Along with the discussion of today’s film in focus, ‘Sugar Daddies’ (1927), being the first short released under Hal Roach’s new distribution deal with MGM, the conversation also includes some contextual information concerning the likes of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd too.
