30. MAY THE DECADE BE WITH YOU
In this Episode, Yvette asked OG Santana to come back for a special New Decade Episode!
But she said no. So instead, Yvette subjects Poor Man's Santana to ideas she's been working on all day about how to choose a new, better, different life (and on a related note, self) in the upcoming decade. Since Yvette has ADD, she starts in the middle (take inventory of who you are and what makes you stronger/weaker), circles back to what should have been the beginning (define the kind of year and decade you want to manifest), lets PMS derail her with dream analysis and finally ties it all together (except maybe that dream stuff) with step 3, create a new, better, faster, stronger, 2007 Kanye normal.

28. Happy Last Full Moon of the Decade
27. Bourbon and Burlesque (Interview with Chris Thomas) Part One
In this episode Autumn and Yvette interview the Host of Bourbon and Burlesque, Chris Thomas. In what was supposed to be an episode about sexy things like burlesque, Yvette gets distracted pretty early on and derails the three of them into exploring how Chris accidentally stumbled onto sobriety after a rough night out. Specifically, Chris shares what his choose your own recovery process looked like (diet, exercise, attainable goals) and the unexpected gifts of his sobriety (grad school, career, hobbies). After exploring recovery, the trio stays on track momentarily while Chris talks about his experience as burlesque host and Yvette tells Chris why he should do standup. Then things get weird as the topic of polyamory turns into them talking for an oddly long time about sperm competition and how women can accidentally giving birth to their partner's clone.

26. Love Thyself
This week Autumn and Yvette spend most of the time talking about the importance of maintaining self-love basics, especially when the chips are down. They also discuss their self love practices and the counterintuitive relationship between self-love and selfishness -plus a bunch of other psychobabble.

23. Halloween Heartbreak
22. How to Piss Off a Dominatrix
In this episode, Yvette interviews professional dominatrix, Serena Stangata and even though Yvette tried really hard to be respectful, she failed miserably and accidentally upset Serena into hanging up on her.
Before that, the pair did get to explore the mind and experiences of a dominatrix. Spoiler: she hates men a lot more than we expected and seems to be largely fueled by anger, which for some reason, surprised Yvette.
If you want to hear about European style dungeons, the joys of shoving needles into fingernails (and genitals), play parties, furries, adult babies, foot worship and Dave Chappelle, this is the episode for you. For added fun, have a drink every time Yvette says the word “fascinating” when she’s mostly just hoping others will be more interested in this stuff than her puritanical sensibilities let her be.
21. Sex Coach 101 (Interview with Relationship Alchemist Lina Joksch)
In this episode, Santana interviews Inner Systems Ecologist and Desire Coach, Lina Joksch. Lina's work focuses on helping women cultivate the soul garden they were given into the garden they want. During the interview she discusses her experience as a somatic sex therapy (yoni massage) patient and how her journey of self-work and love inspired her to help others. Then they discus how the walking wounded can use self-love and celebration practices to work with the score that your body is keeping, so big and little T trauma alike can be transformed and integrated into a desirable life.

20. Neuroscience and Plant Medicine
Santana makes Yvette listen to an episode of her favorite podcast, Muscle Intelligence because in that episode, Dr. Albert Villoldo explores the neuroscience of plant medicine and gives awesome tips for "growing a new body," which Yvette could obviously use.
After the recording of this podcast, Yvette tried the 2-4 grams of fish oil that Villoldo recommended for improving your hippocampus and it randomly is the best thing she's found for her broken endocrine system. Now Yvette is reading his book, "Grow a New Body."
19. Reunited and It's Pretty Funny
This podcast starts with a story about the time Yvette threw up all over Santana (last week) and on a related note, the fact that Santana now thinks she's getting the flu. In better, and frankly miraculous news, Yvette shares how after two years of pining, she finally got over the Peter Pan who had kidnapped her heart for way too long, and the dreams that affirmed it. Then Santana gets really angry about guys reaching out to her for her sex, which inspires Yvette to share unpopular opinions about slut shaming and the tendency in hookup culture to dehumanize and objectify other people and, in turn, oneself. Last, Santana plans to fuck a (figurative) "horse dick."
18. Plant Medicine to Heal Veterans (Interview with Will Watts)
17. Paula Stornetta's Favorite Murder (Interview) Part Two
Yvette gets to write these episode notes so naturally, in this episode, Yvette completely wins the gender pronoun debate. The verdict: freedom of speech is way more important than the way anyone feels.
They also discuss racism, death, skinsuits, children in cages, their shared crush on John Connor and Paula's affinity for Eddie Furlong. Yvette's gives a gratitude practice update and Paula finally wraps up her very sad story about kidnap victim Steven Stayner.
For reasons no one can understand, Paula offers to help Yvette navigate the bullshit healthcare system in America.
PS The word is a "logophile" 🤦🏻♀️

16. Paula Stornetta's Favorite Murder (Interview) Part One
This episode starts with Yvette doing a terrible UK bastard accent alone in her room and leads into discussion with her new friend, Paula Stornetta about Paula's childhood baby-sitter, famous kidnap victim, Steven Stayner and her interviews with convicted serial killer, Ed Kemper.
They also talk about how uber has complicated talking to kids about stranger-danger, how Yvette's mom predicted the non-binary gender movement and why Yvette values free speech more than compelled pronouns even though it makes her a liberal outcast.

15. Interview with International Philanthropist Aja Nikiya Part Two
In Part Two of our interview with Aja Nikiya, we dive into Aja's dark side: she takes care of everyone but herself. On a related note, we explore Aja's health journey, which starts with double jointed tricks, isn't quite marfan syndrome and is starting to get scary.
Later, Aja and Yvette reminisce over the time Yvette signed up to save animals from burning buildings but ended up hiding from an exhibitionist instead. Last, Santana gives Yvette nightmares with stories of her job in a sex boutique.

14. Interview with International Philanthropist Aja Nikiya Part One
In this episode, the nerds interview the amazing Aja Nikiya -international philanthropist extraordinaire (and comedy sketch partner of the nerds).
First, Aja tells us about her experience working with a small team of women to save 1800 animals from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria and her resulting documentary, Linchpins of Dead Dog Island. Then she’s shares what it was like when Trump threw paper towels at hurricane survivors. Last, Aja talks about her orphanage in Malawi, what it's like to have Malaria, what’s happening the Amazon and why we should boycott Brazil until the Amazon becomes a priority to the practices there.

13. How Mold and Monsanto are Killing America
Maybe if enough of us switch to organic gluten, they'll start making more than three organic gluten products. If you work in legislation and you want Nerdacious Behavior to love you, please ban the use of roundup like all the countries that care about their people so Yvette can eat croissants again.
In this episode Yvette finally figures out why she's been sick for two years (mold killed her cytochrome p450 enzyme systems and things dominoed from there) and explains what it was like when mold gave her a 15 second memory and took away the ability to move her tongue. She also explains that the amount of Monsanto's poison, glyphosate (the active ingredient in the herbicide, Roundup) allowed in American wheat correlates perfectly with increases in Celiac disease and literal deaths due to intestinal infections (again, see journal article).

12. Choose Happy: Your Brain on Dopamine
Santana tells Yvette about her new morning ritual, which reminds Yvette of traveling in Puerto Rico and TED Talk where Harvard researcher, Shawn Achor, outlines how to cultivate happiness and why you should do it. Then the two discuss meditation, choices, narratives, positive visualization, non-attachment and how to choose happy.

11. No Means No and I'm About to Cut You in the Face
This week, Yvette figures out that you could have been leaving them voice memos all along. The link is here but if you use it, your message might get played and talked about so be presentable, or at least warned: https://anchor.fm/NerdaciousBehavior/message
After plugging the message feature, Santana and Yvette discuss types of grandmas and their grandma goals before diving into some of the more personal comments about last week's Frank James interview. The conversation quickly evolves into a discussion about interpretation, self love and why some people are just wrong (or failing to communicate effectively). Then Santana meets the massage she's not into and the girls stumble into an important conversation about consent (that Yvette wishes was part of a broader cultural conversation about the distinction between consensual and nonconsensual sex).

10. Interview with Youtube Crush Frank James Part Two
Later he and Santana elucidate their romantic wants, needs and gifts and teach Yvette a new word.
9. Interview with Youtube Crush Frank James Part One
During the interview Frank explains how Yvette and Santana’s Myers-Briggs types compliment each other and why Santana is the fun one (no one was surprised). Then Yvette tricks Frank into reflecting about his relationship with intimacy before the three explore how horribly defective Frank, the rarest type for a man (INFJ) and Yvette, the rarest type for a woman (INTJ), felt before Carl Jung gave them permission to be their easily misunderstood selves. (Actual interview starts at 5 minutes).
8. What's the Point? (Myers-Briggs)
She also learns about her Myers-Briggs type (ISFP) and Yvette learns why she likes Santana so much (and why she should find more ISFP friends). At first Santana rejects the notion that she is artistic and immediately thereafter gets inspired to turn a collection of (two) lighters into a piece of art.
Then Santana complains about dating and catch-fishing and Yvette asks potential Santana suitors to submit their materials of interest to NerdaciousBehavior@gmail.com for evaluation by Yvette the fire-breathing dragon.
7. Happy Birthday America
Santana and Yvette spend the Fourth of July podcasting and watching Stranger Things. Santana makes several funny jokes while Yvette goes into nauseating detail about her love of Khenpo lectures. Then she admits that she doesn't know the significance of the Fourth of July, only to find out that America's birthday is actually the second. John Adams rolls over in his grave.
6. Exploring Intimacy -birthday edition
5. Zen and the Art of FootZoning
Yvette falls in love with a foot massage and wants to go back to school (again) to learn how to give the world's most expensive (and healing!) foot massage. Santana welcomes presents, donations sexual advances for Yvette's birthday, which Yvette seems less than open to.
Santana shares how the art of "not giving a shit" allows her to ride a middle path and recommends the book Buddha's Brain before closing a chapter, dropping some acid and having a profound revelation about sand. Yvette signs up to volunteer for Bernie Sanders and sets her OkCupid account to London. For the first time Yvette and Santana agree on men: all of the ones in London are hot and now they want to move.
4. Black Kryptonite
Lucky for you, she's been one of Yvette’s best friends for over a decade and has little, if any filter. In this episode lovelY (Yvette’s given name in colorful circles) interviews Black Kryptonite (aka Samantha) who offers listeners unique insights on dating and adulting that only a stunning, bisexual African American attorney in her 30s who is looking for a health conscious life-partner can give.
Listen as the two law nerds openly discuss the impending obsolescence of contract law, age purgatory, women’s intuition, the joys of delayed gratification, why Yvette thinks no one is good enough for Samantha, the unpredictability of chemistry, pretentious polyamorous ugmos, Samantha’s quick-exit first date strategy, puppy fever, a taste of Yvette’s kitchen witch tips, the Shakespearean nature of the hormone monster gender libido divide and Yvette’s 19th century dating sensibilities.
3. Fuck a Vegan Diet
Then Santana talks about her first acupuncture experience and Yvette loses friends over her relentless enthusiasm for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Afterwards, with no warning or segue, the two spend 40 minutes discussing what their very different types have in common with octopuses and one 8 week old puppy.
2. Growing Pains
1. Neal Brennan -you have been masturbated to
Welcome to the first episode of Nerdacious Behavior! The new podcast where audacious nerds, Santana and Yvette, discuss their pursuit of wellness, mild attempts at dating and other hilarities of adulting.
In this episode, Santana spends the first half recommending the documentary What the Health (even though it catalyzed a vegan experiment that is making her feel like death) before segueing into her dream career of eating donated shellfish.
In the second half, for the first time ever, Yvette remembers to tell someone about the nightmare she had before being on Eddie Pepitone's podcast last week and her Neal Brennan inspired Aspergers Syndrome.
Please like and subscribe and tell us that we're pretty and smart and that you want to give us cool jobs that pay loads of money so we can buy a second microphone.
PS this draft was accidentally published when the podcast was put on the back burner because Yvette was in the hospital. We haven’t listened to it but we hear the audio gets better. On a related note, we’re very open to working with a volunteer producer or sound engineer since we’re just talent and can’t actually do most things.
