She is highly experienced in delivering gold standard diagnosis of adolescents, adults and children and sees patients and their families both privately and through her ongoing work with primary care trusts. She is in the final stages of completing a PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London on how we can better understand sex differences and similarities in the autism profile. Since 2012, Hannah has been delivering autism psycho-educational workshops with male and female offenders across London prisons. Having been part of a successful bid for government funding in early 2018, she is now partnering with St. Giles Trust to improve service provision for women with mental health and complex support needs in England’s Criminal Justice System. Hannah has dedicated herself to autism research and tirelessly advocates for increased public understanding of women on the spectrum, and indeed the greater well-being of all those with neurodiverse conditions.  Emma Kurran is a 3D Artist and an Autistic woman. She was diagnosed at 18 years old whilst at university.  She originally trained as a 3D Character Animator and worked on some amazing VFX films, including Jungle Book (2016), Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) for a few hectic years, then became a freelance animator and illustrator for a change in pace. She sometimes participates in autism studies at King's College London and once a year delivers a talk to students of MSc Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences about my experience as a woman living with autism.

Conversations about sex with those we work with can at times be a tricky one to navigate. It is however an occupation most human beings engage in at some point in their lives and therefore is important that Occupational Therapists are able to work with this when it arises in practice. In this episode, I discuss all things sex with Dr Sakshi Tickoo. Dr. Sakshi Tickoo (she/hers) is a new grad Occupational Therapy practitioner, Personal Counsellor, and Student Mentor working in school-based, home healthcare, and telehealth settings for over a year now. Members of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) have the democratic right to select a candidate for the seat of Council Member, International Affairs – World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). One of the candidates for this seat is Dr Kee Hean Lim. With the ballots closing on Friday, 24th July 2020 at 12noon, I took an opportunity to have a conversation with Dr Lim about what the position involves and the reasons behind him deciding to stand for it. Emma is a trainer in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2) and Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R). She also runs workshops in ASD and ADHD. We are in the midst of racial tension across the world due the death of a Black man called George Floyd. This has raised many questions around race and further given voice to the Black Lives Matter movement. I wanted to get the thoughts and feelings from fellow Black and People of Colour Occupational Therapists to begin the discussion about how we can increase diversity in the profession. He found his way into Occupational Therapy which then gave him an understanding of why he perhaps engaged in those occupations. We discuss what impact engaging in those occupations had on him and how it influences him and his professional practice.

Episode 8 - Stalking - A Meaningful Occupation?
We often work with individuals presenting with complex needs but regardless of this, we as Occupational Therapist need to be able to explore all occupations these individuals engage in.  Stalking is one such occupation. As part of an innovative project, Occupational Therapist Sam Baker works with perpetrators of stalking. Episode 6 - Jane Moseley & Catherine Rodgers - High Intensity User.   In this episode, I am joined by two Occupational Therapist Jane Moseley (@janiemoseley) and Catherine  Rodgers (CathRodgers13) to talk about their roles as High Intensity User workers.  High Intensity User is the name given to individuals who are identified as a frequent visitor to accident and emergency.
