Episode 43 - Academics: "Learning From the Feet Up"

Episode 43 - Academics: "Learning From the Feet Up"

Physical educators often use cross curricular instruction by introducing classroom academics into their movement based class.  We discuss taking the reverse approach and incorporating movement into the academic classes.  The Kinesthetic Classroom 2.0: Ready Set Go is a book by Mike Kuczala and Traci Lengel.  Their research into movement and learning combined with steps to incorporate (including activity examples) lays a foundation for movement in academics.
