79: Let's Review Batman: Three Jokers!
Episode 79!  This week we are giving our thoughts on Batman: Three Jokers, as well as going over some other nerd news! 30 years after "The Killing Joke" changed comics forever, "The Three Jokers" re-examines the myth of who, or what, is the Joker and what is at the heart of his ongoing battle with Batman? New York Times bestselling writer Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok, the writer/artist team that waged the "Darkseid War" in the pages of Justice League, reunite to tell the ultimate story of Batman and The Joker. After years of anticipation, the epic story is finally here: find out why there are three Jokers, and what that means for the decades-long battle between the Dark Knight and the Clown Prince of Crime. 78: Let's Review The Last Ronin #1!
Episode 78! I want to start out by apologizing! This isn't our best episode! We were extremely distracted by the election and everything sounds all over the place. We'll be back next week ready to roll! This week we are giving our thoughts on the first issue of The Last Ronin! Springing from the minds of TMNT co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird comes an epic like you've never seen before! In a future NYC far different than the one we know today, a lone surviving Turtle goes on a seemingly hopeless mission to obtain justice for his fallen family and friends. This is a perennial TMNT tale that can't be missed!  As usual you can head over to our YouTube channel and find an episode that will be an uncut version of the recording so get ready for long off topic conversations and technical difficulties! While we're at it we thought it would be fun to leave in all of the distractions so you all can get the full effect. So the audio only version will be uncut as well! Good luck!

77: Let's Review Ice Cream Man Vol. 1!
Episode 77! This week we are giving our thoughts on ICE CREAM MAN, VOL. 1: RAINBOW SPRINKLES, as well as going over a few other nerd news! Chocolate, vanilla, existential horror, addiction, musical fantasy…there’s a flavor for everyone’s misery. ICE CREAM MAN is a genre-defying comic book series, featuring disparate “one-shot” tales of sorrow, wonder, and redemption. Each installment features its own cast of strange characters, dealing with their own special sundae of suffering. And on the periphery of all of them, like the twinkly music of his colorful truck, is the Ice Cream Man—a weaver of stories, a purveyor of sweet treats. Friend. Foe. God. Demon. The man who, with a snap of his fingers—lickety split!—can change the course of your life forever. Written by W. MAXWELL PRINCE (ONE WEEK IN THE LIBRARY), with art by MARTÍN MORAZZO (SNOWFALL, GREAT PACIFIC). Collects ICE CREAM MAN #1-4. As usual you can head over to our YouTube channel and find an episode that will be an uncut version of the recording so get ready for long off topic conversations and technical difficulties!

72: Let's Review Batman: White Knight!
Episode 72! This week we are giving our thoughts on Batman: White Knight, as well as going over a few other nerd news! Batman: White Knight is an eight-issue comic book limited series written and illustrated by Sean Murphy with color from Matt Hollingsworth and lettering by Todd Klein, published by DC Comics. The series was announced on July 7, 2017 and the first issue was released on October 4 that year. White Knight was initially intended to be seven-issue story, but was extended to eight issues after the release of the first issue. A trade paperback collecting all eight issues was released on October 9, 2018. It is the first graphic novel published under the DC Black Label imprint. Murphy's core premise for White Knight was to reverse the roles of Batman and the Joker by portraying the Joker as the hero and Batman as the villain. His goal was to depict a more realistic take on Gotham City, where crime could not be stopped with a fist; i.e., Batman's methods. This led him to turn the Joker into a politician, using the character's intelligence and charisma to win the people of Gotham over. DC Comics had no problems with the ideas that Murphy had for the series, such as changing the timeline in Batman's history.  As usual you can head over to our YouTube channel and find an episode that will be an uncut version of the recording so get ready for long off topic conversations and technical difficulties!

68: DC Fandome Weekend Recap!
Episode 68! It feels like forever since we recorded even though it hasn't been any longer than usual. Simon and I all over the place with this one as we discuss DC Fandome. DC FanDome was an eight-hour virtual convention held by DC Comics and Warner Bros. to highlight some of the biggest films, TV shows, game, and comics announcements. The biggest panels — those dedicated to Warner Bros. and DC’s film slate, including The Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman 1984, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League — were sandwiched between short sketches, interviews, rapid Q&As, and little tributes to the world of DC. It was a lot to take in so we did the best we could which is probably debatable. Enjoy this unedited episode and let us know what you thought of the event. Ep. 33: National Treasure Nicolas Cage! | The Wednesday Pull List!
This week Murph and Lex catch up. They talk a little bit about 9/11 for some reason and they go over some future plans and schedules. The second half of this episode was dedicated to Nicolas Cage. Cage is the type of actor that gets a ton of hate, even though he’s turned in more than a few top notch performances. The problem is, people just aren’t aware of them. Sorry they wasted your time today folks! Leave a positively exaggerated review!

Ep. 31: MCU Spider-Man Eulogy! | The Wednesday Pull List!
Sony Pictures and Walt Disney Studios have failed to come to terms over the future of Spider-Man movies leaving Marvel Studios and producer Kevin Feige out of Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man slate. This potentially means that we won’t be seeing any more Avengers or other Marvel Cinematic Universe characters in a Spider-Man movie — and that it’s likely Peter Parker won’t be seen in any future MCU installments for the foreseeable future.

Ep. 18: Battle for the Cowl! | The Wednesday Pull List!
How’s it going Pull Listers!?  So first of all let us apologize for all the technical difficulties. We ran into a lot of curve balls when recording this. You’ll notice the occasional awkward break and at times the audio is off. It really messed up our flow and left some awkward dead air. We’re working on getting all that out. By working on it we mean we’re waiting on anchor to update their damn app!  On today’s episode we discuss some DC news! A few things they’ve dropped in the passed few weeks. Things like news on “THE Suicide Squad, “Birds of Prey”, and of course “The Batman”. After lots of rambling and nonsense we talk about our fan picks for who will don the cowl for the next installment of the caped crusaders cinematic journey. We hope you fight through and enjoy some part of it. We definitely think it’s a good one in the content department.  As promised here is the link to the “Justice League Mortal” article by our friends over at Den of Geek! https://www.denofgeek.com/us/movies/justice-league/246346/the-justice-league-movie-you-never-saw  See you fools next week!

Ep. 7: The Mandela Effect! | The Wednesday Pull List!
The Mandela Effect is an instance of collective misremembering. Examples include lines from famous movies that everyone gets wrong (e.g., Humphrey Bogart’s saying “Play it again, Sam” in Casablanca), erroneous dates and numbers (apparently many people answer “52” when asked how many states there are in the U.S.), and historical misconceptions. On today's episode Murph and Lex try to crack the code!
