This week, we talk about the idea of American exceptionalism

We love the country we live in, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have questions about it.

 Only when we scrutinize what we love, we can fully understand it. Anyways, we talk about the issues America has faced, and the idea of American 'exceptionalism', or the belief that America is the greatest country ever, and whether that idea is right or wrong. 

This one may be controversial, but I hope you all enjoy. 

This one should be good. 

As always, if you disagree with me, good! I love to be wrong. Everyone at some point in their lives will be wrong, and I'd like you to convince me otherwise. I live in this country after all, so I'd have nothing to lose and everything to gain by living in the greatest country in the world.

I don't have a long and elaborate description for you all to enjoy, as I do know there are just so many people waiting for my weekly descriptors, but anywho, here is the episode. Hey everyone. 

I know what you're thinking, why haven't I uploaded this week's episode? Well, to put it plainly, I wanted to keep true to a promise I made earlier in an episode. I remember the disappointment from not getting a year-end healthcare debate, after my very unfortunate mishap, and so, I promised that if I were to be able to salvage any form of sound recordings of that episode, I would upload it in its full glory on the internet. Now, I never expected this day to come, but here it is. In all of its glory, here is, the healthcare episode. Rough around the edges, and with some gags, this episode is all-around a pretty solid and brilliant debate, between 2 opposing forces. Healthcare for all v. freedom of choice. Contentious, loud, but overall jovial, I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I did making it. Uploads will be weekly from now on (although I can't predict the future) and I hope you'll tune in. Maybe you'll listen? Maybe you'll like it? Maybe you'll tell a friend? Today, with my guest Matt Sheedy, we are discussing immigration. In this episode, we talk about legal immigration, illegal immigration, the drug crisis in America, and the wall.

In this episode of Why Politics? we discuss gun control. Along with my guests Oscar Cespedes and Marc Genua, I'll be discussing gun control. Mainly, what it means, why or why not we need it, and where we go from now.  This dicy topic leads to a contentious discussion, but it may also lead to some common ground. As two opposites clash, we'll see if we can find some common ground and if we can talk about a path from here that we should move towards. 

With the topic of reparations coming back into the news, with bills like H.R 40 being heard at the moment in the House of Representatives, it's important to have a conversation about the issue of reparations. This week, with my guest Oscar Cespedes, I hope to have an honest discussion about reparations, and why we should go forth with the idea of reparations and go through with a plan of reimbursement.
