Womb Centered Healing is a growing focus of healing arts practitioners who recognize the foundational importance of the womb. Women and men all hold strong imprints and feelings in the womb space that often require much healing before we can become our full potential. Join me on this podcast as I discuss my own Womb Centered Healing offerings and interview a variety of people exploring this aspect of the healing journey. Photo credit: Nora Gonczi

In this episode, LaChelle and I discuss how to recover from depression by developing our emotional wisdom.
LaChelle's Bio: What is life like for a 49 year old woman who has been married to Jerome Adkins for 27 years, who is a retired Major in the United States Army and Pastor of World Fellowship of Jesus Christ and parents of 15 children? It has been adventurous to say the least. Raised as an only child, the transition to staying home and walking away from a career was a hard one to make. The anxiety of doing everything right, pleasing others and seeking validation led to a life of depression that resulted in 3 hospitalizations. However, that period of 13 years of battling depression led to a personal journey to find self. No longer liking the victim mindset, LaChelle came up with a strategy to overcome depression that she has named Fresh start. She is now an inspirational speaker and coach to empower women to be proactive in their mental wellness.

The planet is breathing in deeply right now, as nature aligns - perhaps temporarily - so what can we do to appreciate this sacred moment of realignment-of-all-things, which also involves us?

In this episode I share more about my experiences of how we tend to value the healing services and trainings we receive. What gives something its true value? It has become clear in my 25 years as a massage therapist and my more recent exploration of online courses and services, that the price tag on something does not give it its value. My need for it and ability to implement and integrate the material into my life are better determinants of the value of something. And as I discover my own intrinsic creative gifting capacity, what I feel called to give to the world, it seems to increase my sense of self value, the value of what I am giving, my own needs and the importance that my giving is sustainable, that my needs are being met, and that I am inspiring and nurturing your intrinsic gifts to arise from within you to meet our collective needs and my needs in particular if we are to develop a sustainable relationship where I am giving to you through this podcast for example and you are supporting me in some way as well. Connect with me to further this discussion through my website: www.wombcenteredhealing.com.

So returning to Womb Centered Awareness heals this at the root.
