The Big AAF Podcast
By AAF Memphis
Two years ago, I quit my job with one goal in mind: Find a new journey where I can actually BE CREATIVE. Instead, I stumbled into the world of advertising and found a deep dark secret: WE ARE ALL ADVERTISERS.
Join me as we chat with the various voices and personalities that dare to video our world just a little differently.
This bi-monthly podcast will talk to creatives, freelancers, old heads of advertising and even sneak in a few surprises. I would love for you to be a part of our ride to hear from those who create this vibrant world on their own.

Cori McCleskey
In October AAF Memphis hosted a round table called Social Media: Connections in a Disconnect Time. We invited people from the Memphis community to talk about the power of social media.
Remember Media SHE-E-O Cori McCleskey joins the pod. As the helm of the social media agency making waves in Memphis, Cori really brings the energy when it comes to her craft. She shares a few of her controversial takes on social media, what makes Memphis a strange fun market and what it is like to create content. Let Cori sweep you away with her passion, focus and elevation of social media in her city.
Holly Whitfield
In October AAF Memphis hosted a round table called Social Media: Connections in a Disconnect Time. We invited people from the Memphis community to talk about the power of social media.
We are lucky to have one of those panelist join us on the pod today! Holly Whitfield is the person behind the every popular I Love Memphis blog. If you are from Memphis, you know the I Love Memphis site has a unique pulse on the activities in Memphis. Holly spoke to Benji about how social plays a role into getting events out, the effect of COVID on the blog, and discussed Memphis hot spots. Benji might have been a bit excited to talk about Memphis, food and learn from Holly. Hope you find this as fun as he did!
The Big AAF Podcast - Candace Gray
My goodness there is light in this world and Candace Gray is part of it. Candace is the owner of CG Comms Grou. Candace has a rich history on both agency and client side, but cares about people above all. Ditching it all to the side, she loves to focus on human groups and clients that brought her to own her own business. In her spare time (HA!) she is an active musician, mother and wife. She gets her strength from her mother, and tells a powerful story of making her mom proud. I was taken to church by this beautiful soul.
The Big AAF Podcast - Richard Fudge
This week Richard Fudge, VP of Memphis AAF and designer at Baptist Hospitals sits down. COVID-19 has hit a lot of people in different ways, but Richard's work with hospitals is an unique experience. We also chat a bit about the difference between agency live vs client side work and staying creative the best way you know how. Fun convo with a really good dude.
Andrew Hochradel
My goodness, this week's guest is awesome. Coming right off the AAF Memphis September 2021 luncheon and sitting down with benji k, Andrew brought the sauce. Andrew talks about what it takes to be creativity, diving into projects and being flexible to use creativity to change things.
Andrew is the owner of HOCHDOTCO, founder of Cancel Con (a response to COVID-19), an educator with Adobe, a podcaster, conference host expert and much much more. This is a super fun conversation with high energy, and high education. You will not be disappointed.
The Big AAF Podcast - Karen McKenzie
To kick off this journey, I sat down with the big boss lady, President of AAF Memphis Karen McKenzie. This pod we talked a lot about changes to AAF Memphis, challenges that COVID brought, and changes coming with a new board beginning. If you ever wanted some info on AAF Memphis, this is the episode for you.
