By Brighton Hugg

It was a cold 2008 Christmas at the cabin. A young Brighton Hugg eagerly opened a gift from his parents. It was an MP3 player. He stared in awe at the tiny machine in front of him, looking at the features. There was a voice recorder! It was only a matter of time before he could charge it up and begin his career in making podcasts.

"8 whole minutes of boringness. Oh well."

Yeah, I recorded myself playing video games before it was cool.

"Oooo, zippity dooda!"

An epic battle between two brethren was immortalized on this day. Nobody was seriously injured, don't worry.

"News guys never stall! We're not stalling!"

My career in the broadcasting industry would've been nothing without my family. My brother decided to do a concert for all of the residents of Abilia Site (an imaginary complex full of cool offices and stuff like that), and my mom helped me play the piano.

*LOUDNESS WARNING*

"I'M SO FUNNY, HA HA HA!"

I discovered a magic trick: pausing the recording. Time would pass in real life, but in the recording it wouldn't! This was a jam-packed episode. There was news and music, with guest performances from Aiden, Robert, and Skype.

"THIS IS A HOLDUP!"

An action skit so suspenseful that you will sweat the bullets that I forgot to load the Nerf gun with.

*LOUDNESS WARNING*

"Welcome to the music channel!" ~me, 2009

My first ever musical performance to be broadcasted for the world to hear. Despite all of the hard work and effort I put into creating musical masterpieces, I discovered that day that haters are gonna hate.

"I'M RECORDING!!!"

"I'M RECORDING!!!"

"Brighton, when you grow up you're going to look back at these times and laugh."  ~my brother, January 1st, 2009

This was my debut. My big day. My MP3 player was charged, and I was full of energy. I gave it my all and entered the podcast industry with guns blazing! Unfortunately, my dad was having a nap at the time so my bottle of lightning was screwed shut.
