Let's go backward and forward - in 2010 we became friends with a woman named Dana. She was very close to Gemma until something broke them apart.

Dana is who sold Gretchen (see: episode 47) the radio.

Something isn't right on the other side, that's becoming painfully obvious. Now it's digging into my dreams and that's not really something I'm interested in.

Thankfully Harry has another case for me to focus on and take my mind off what could be going on down there, and if there's anything I can do to stop it.

Today we meet Teresa and Mindy. Mindy is the best kind of friend - she'll hire a conduit to come exorcise whatever the fuck is in your house causing your problems. 

Whatever is in the house is pretty creepy, and seems to think things on the 'other side' aren't going well.

Welcome to Season 4!

Thank you for your patience with my return - it's been a doozy to get back into the routine. But the world didn't let me rest for long. Thankfully my first case back was pretty run of the mill - scary stuff that's more normal than paranormal. Don't worry, the rest of the year proved to be filled with chaos.

Today we head to Florence, AZ to meet Marie...who has a...helpful? ghost?

I have come down with the VID so this is a short episode - The Sleepover. 

When I was in 1st grade I went to a birthday party that ended with a sleepover. At that sleepover I may have let it slip to a parent that I could see the ghosts that walked the halls of their home. Prior to this I'd shown some proclivity for the weird...this was the proof my mother needed to set her sights on me as her heir to the weird.

At a Halloween party I run into a friend, Holly, who tells me a terrible tale about her recent camping trip outside of Flagstaff.

Starting off October strong with a haunted Arizona story - Jerome, AZ. This town was called "The wickedest town in the west" and it burned down countless times in the late 1800's. Along with this comes a slew of hauntings, where almost every building in the town having seen SOME sort of paranormal activity.

Thanks for being patient while I took a short break. I thought I'd release this little guy - a story that's really a response to a message I received on Twitter asking if the Superstition Mountains are real. I've mentioned them a few times...and they're real. They also have some amazing lore behind them I thought I'd share!

Welcome back from our short holiday break! Today I'm bringing it back to 2017, on account of COVID and being in isolation. 

99% of the reason I don't have children is because sometimes they do scary things, like talk to ghosts on their baby monitor.

Are your things going missing? Only to appear later? Are random gifts being left on your window sill? I take you back to a pre COVID story where I find a haunting of the not so ghostly type. 

Have you every been thrifting? Me neither - I don't have the patience. Also, you never know what you're going to find.

oh, and you kinda meet my mom.

Episode 10 we head down to Eloy. Yep - Eloy. After a too long car drive I found myself investigating if the kids are all right or not. Spoiler alert - they're not.

So there's a lot of ... other ... things? Out there than just me. And ghosts. And whatever that shadow demon thing is. You've already met one.

Episode 8 brings us to a little suburb of Phoenix called Gilbert, where Stephanie found a house she wants to buy. Unfortunately, it's already occupied. Nothing like a "Hey lets get lunch!" phone call that ends in "Can you exorcism this home for me?"

Haley is a local celebrity. Well, as "local" as you can be with a few million Instagram followers. Imagine my surprise when she e-mailed me for help for her haunting.

Shit got weird, like it always does. 

Apparently there's an app where you set an "intention" and it takes you to a spot based on points. These points can be spiritual or physical or whatever. What a nice surprise to lead Gemma, Monique and I to a fucking graveyard. 

Tucson, 2007 - pt 2

Remember that TV show from when we were kids? Hey Cowboy! It was on a children's network - cheesy, set in the desert southwest at a real dude ranch. Turns out a short, relatively unmarked hike in the desert will take you to the set. What ever happened to that show anyway?

What's family for, other than asking you for favors and not paying you?

Meet Stephanie - my older sister the real estate mogul. Over lunch she asked me for a favor - kinda. We journey a town or two over to Mesa, a suburb of Phoenix, to investigate a flip turned haunted. 

For episode 3 we spend a hot as all hell afternoon - and night - just east of Phoenix in horse country. Here we meet a different kind of haunt - the one that likes to cling to you and cause problems.

I want to thank everyone for listening so far - it's been fun! Now that we're on a roll, we'll be releasing a new episode every other Wednesday. There will be breaks, but expect us bright and early Wednesday mornings!

I think context is important. How did I get here? Where did it all start? I can't bring you back to when I was a tadpole, but I can take you on the (long) journey to figure my shit out.
