This episode is the first in a series which will show the original source material of Yuri Bezmenov - along with video versions available on YouTube (linked below), with some commentary so that you can understand the basics of the process, and learn to apply that knowledge to your understanding of the media you consume. Knowledge is power and without an understanding of the tactics used against you - by the media which you currently trust! - you are vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation. By understanding the tactics of active measures, you're able to recognize when these tactics are used against you. Please be skeptical of the media you consume because one of the main tactics of active measures is to monopolize the media. The more you look at how media leads the American population into ever-escalating power struggle, I believe you will become more and more skeptical of them.

The Active Measures Podcast - Stating the Obvious wants to inform you and everyone about the details of the original material of the active measures process, according to Yuri Bezmenov himself. There are other documents which are also relevant, but only within the context of an understanding of active measures and how it works.

First, we need to understand the patterns of the active measures process. After that, it should be very easy to see that this process is progressing towards crisis in the United States right now (September 2020).

Active Measures is a process is intentionally decades long, so that the public's historical memory is not generally capable of seeing the movement and growth of the Active Measures process as intentional over such a long period of time. If we take a look over the course of the last 40 or so years, the steps that were necessary in order to bring us to the point where we are now become more clearly deliberate and not some haphazard combination of random events. In this episode, I share some of the major milestones which have occurred over the course of the last 40 years, starting with the Ronald Reagan administration and its destruction of the Fairness Doctrine, which allowed the rise of Fox News and other right-wing media outlets.

Active Measures seems to be the most important driving force behind the national political and social events in the United States - and other countries - in 2020. This is a process of destroying a country by cracking a community into factions and getting those factions to engage in ever-escalating power struggle with each other until society fails.
