Not the start that we wanted for Loudoun in our opening match against Miami FC but give this episode a listen as the Adams unpack the loss against 10-man Miami and talk about why there's many reasons to still be optimistic about Loudoun's season.

This week's episode is another special one! We "sit down" with Clarens Cheridieu, who runs a lot of the operations and behind-the-scenes work at Loudoun United, about a very special player's journey to our club. Last year, Kairou Amoustapha agreed to terms with Loudoun just before finding out the world was going into lockdown. Without any easy way to make the trip from the country of Niger to Loudoun County, Kairou was left with a decision to make. He could either wait out the quarantine and lockdown, which might see him miss a substantial part of the USL Championship Season... or he could take on a rather daring trip across multiple countries, and many days, to get here. Clarens supported him on the phone throughout the trip and comes on the show to tell his story.

Well, folks, we took a quick break from podcasting as one of the Adams welcomed his newborn daughter into the world, and in that time the world of soccer in Loudoun County collapsed around us. So, what was supposed to be a recap of the Pittsburgh and Charleston games is now our final episode of the season. We have a special guest on the show to join us to see off the season, our Captain, Peabo Doue, and we have a bunch of End-Of-Season Awards to dish out. As with our previous interview, the Loudoun Stampede has agreed to donate $1 for every listen to this episode to the charitable organization of Peabo's choice, and he went with DC Scores!

Welcome to the introductory episode to the Too Loud Adams! We're just a couple of fans that are hoping to stir up some more support for our local club, Loudoun United, through conversation. Whether its questions about the team or about the league they play in, the USL Championship, we hope to be an informative place to tune in and provide some answers.

We don't know where this is going to go, might be just a small group of followers or it might be something people regularly look forward to tuning into each week. We're learning the ropes as we go at this whole podcasting thing so be patient but the more we learn, the more we're hoping to provide to you, the listeners. But right now, we're just looking to have fun and we hope you do too!
