Outlaw Dirty Money in Arizona
In this episode, I speak with Paul Weich, a business and election attorney, about the Arizona ballot initiative called Outlaw Dirty Money – shortly after this episode was recorded, the Arizona Supreme Court upheld a lower court decision that found the initiative didn't have enough valid signatures to qualify for the ballot. We also discuss whether the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission is the right entity to enforce the initiative. Paul was a reporter for NPR in Tucson and is a co-founder of the blog Arizona's Politics. What's an independent to do

This episode marks the first time I interviewed a guest. At the time, my audio skills were limited. They are still limited but improved. I re-edited the episode and removed a lot of the extraneous noise. My conversation with Dr. Neal Lester of Arizona State University is worth a listen. Lester is a Foundation Professor of English and a Founding Director of Project Humanities. He has extensive public service experience.
