Conversation with artist Rita Keegan

Conversation with artist Rita Keegan

Rita Keegan is a UK-based painter whose exhibit "Somewhere Between There and Here" is being shown at South London Gallery.  The exhibit includes recent works of Rita Keegan, and also includes the work of her uncle, painter Keith Simon, who lived and worked in London from 1952-1972.  Rita discusses her creative process, her family archives, and her vision with her cousin, fellow artist Lorraine Brooks, who is described by Rita as "the family historian".  Lorraine is also the custodian of Keith Simon's unsold works, which number over 400 paintings, drawings, and other ephemera.
