There are many, many ways to make money online, but by no means are they created equal. There are those that don’t work out well, there are the scams, and then there are the proven ways to make money online. Over the few episodes, we will discuss 21 of the best proven ways to make money online. After hearing some of these, you may very well be fired up to get into making some money online! Note that the order we listed these methods does not imply any greater or lesser value, since people have different strengths and circumstances. The greatest requirements to make money online are creativity and diligence. The Internet is basically a canvas which you can use to your gain, but you will need to work hard to make things work. With that said, let’s begin looking into just how you can make some money online.  

Once you have money, you will take time to protect it by avoiding future catastrophes. Be cautious and always assume the worst. Do not go through life thinking that other people will not take advantage of you or that your money is not important to them. A careless mistake can cost you a fortune. A careless demeanor opens you up to attack. And you will never know where it is going to come from.

The average millionaire or comfortably wealthy person works for himself or owns a business. This is a law that is hard to follow. Most people think a business is a risky proposition simply because there are so many factors that affect the success of a business. A million things can go wrong, but a million things can also go right.  

Do not wait for business opportunities, create them. Entrepreneurs look at an empty lot and see possibility and a method for them to get rich. Those with a poor mindset simply see an empty lot. The rich look at garbage and see a garbage hauling business, a rust-­‐cleaning service, a recycling center. Those with a poor mindset see only the discarded tires, the dirt and the weeds.  

Support the traditional and explore the new. Opportunities grow with the growth of the Internet and the advent of technology. The  Internet is not just a place to go to. The exponential growth of business and the changing face of technology creates more and more investment opportunities for the modern investor, as well as the modern entrepreneur.  

Once you have established a firm financial foundation or put aside a little money, it is time to learn to invest. Many first time investors fall into the trap of waiting, and waiting until they “have enough.” The first thing you have to do is nix that notion, right now. You will find out by hearing these tips that even measly amounts can add up to great amounts over time. Others balk at investing because they think “I do not know enough to be a player.” That is right.

You do not. The truly wealthy understand how money works and never start sentences with the words “I do not know.” If you do not understand investing and how it works, it is time to start to do the legwork.

The truly wealthy or those who want to be, consider debt to be death to their portfolio. They only allow themselves to go into debt when they need it, and in that case they often refer to it as capital or even better, they often get it from someone else. Keep the motto in mind when working with debt and get rid of it as soon as possible.  

When it comes to wealth generation, another important factor that is hard to follow is “living within your means.” For many people, living in debt has become the norm. It is common for the average person to be buried in debt before they reach the age of 25. A consumer-­‐driven economy based on floating credit also creates the impression that wealth means more products. After taking a hard look at your assets and income, now you have to check your lifestyle and see where you can cut down on expenses.  

Keep in mind that the average millionaire is not who you think he is. The frugal rich stay richer—if you do not believe this, think of all those high flying celebrities who end up with their homes in foreclosure or selling their tell-­‐alls on TV to pay for all that Cristal and all those houses. The famous IKEA owner drives a Volvo. HSBC’s chairperson famously goes around the main office turning off all the lights long after the employees have left. The stories go on and on. The rich do not live the lifestyle of the rich—they stay rich because they are frugal at heart.

Creating a Wealth Foundation means earning Financial Freedom by creating a Wealth Mindset. The wealthy think differently. This is true and an inescapable fact. The other thing is that there is a poor mindset and a wealthy one.

Being wealthy does not have to be difficult if you have the know-­‐how. In these hard economic times many people are satisfied by just getting by and scraping enough money together to pay the bills. Wealth and financial freedom are a far-­‐off dream for many people. For them, it means mansions, gated communities, a fast car, private parties or a pool. The truly wealthy have family names like Rockefeller or Morgan.

Part of learning how to better manage your time means learning to organize your efforts so that you are working when you are likely to be the most productive. This process helps to eliminate wasted time, or when you are working but not being particularly productive.

A positive attitude and a lot of passion are absolutely necessary to running a successful business over the long term. Your passion and dream will be your motivation during this process. However, the daily ups and downs of running a business, along with the occasional misstep, will often diminish your motivation. This can have severe consequences. Without proper and long lasting motivation the odds of your business surviving for years to come will be reduced. The good news is that there are plenty of things you can do to help maintain your own motivation and to help motivate your staff.  

Being a leader is difficult and it requires many traits and skills. The most important of these is a positive attitude. Your mental attitude will determine how you experience every aspect of your life, including how you run your business. It will also have a tremendous influence on how you act as a leader and how well you are able to influence your employees. Even though maintaining a positive attitude on a daily basis can be a tricky thing to do, it is one of the most important aspects of being a good leader and it will have many positive effects on your business.  

How well you are able to manage other people will determine whether or not your business is successful. This includes finding the right place for yourself within the company’s roles and for hiring employees. Choosing employees who are capable, competent, compatible, committed and who fit into your company’s culture will ensure that the day to day aspects of your company are taken care of. Preparing yourself for the challenges of becoming a boss will help make sure that you are able to lead the company to success. But truly successful leaders don’t rely purely on their own skills and characteristics. Instead they surround themselves with experts.  

A few episodes ago, I told you about my idea to start a journey with Roku where I will launch a business dedicated to building, launching and managing TV channels and shows on StreamingTV or ConnectedTV devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV and others.  I have been working relentlessly over the past week trying to get a lot accomplished so I hit my target goal. So I've set myself up for a huge task of getting a lot done. So let me give you an update as to where I am in the process.

Passion represents one of the most important aspects of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Without passion your business will turn out to be just another job.

So you may be asking yourself, what does it take to become an entrepreneur? There are plenty of benefits of being an entrepreneur, but it is certainly no easy task to start your own business. Successful entrepreneurs all have specific traits, that is to say those who are able to accomplish their goals, earn a successful living through their business and enjoy the many benefits of entrepreneurship. If you are considering taking the leap and following your entrepreneurship dreams then you will want to understand what these traits are so that you can instill the same traits in yourself. This will help ensure that you are able to achieve your dreams.

A recent survey found that more than 70% of people want to be some sort of entrepreneur. Becoming an entrepreneur is a sought after job for many reasons, including pride, purpose and possibly money. Starting and running your own business on a day to day basis is no easy task, but it is one that is truly worth the effort. So why should you consider becoming an entrepreneur? Once you’ve identified your passion and found some practical uses for it, the hard part comes next. Living your passion won’t be easy. You may find yourself having to defend it to family and friends. While standing up for your passion may be a challenge, it won’t be the hardest one. You will have to consistently work with yourself to stay true to doing what you love. If you’ve made it all the way to adulthood without pursuing your passion, there’s sometimes a very compelling reason; fear. It’s not easy to put yourself out there to potentially be judged, especially if your passion is considered impractical. It can also be scary to do something that you aren’t familiar with or comfortable doing. This fear is natural and shouldn’t be used as an excuse not to move forward. If you have found something that you enjoy, it’s worth it to pursue it.

In the entrepreneur community, scale, is a very popular word. It can mean several different things but in this case, it means growth. If you are able to take your passion and turn it into a business, that’s a wonderful thing and should be applauded. If you can take that same business and successfully scale it, that should be commended. While it may seem like an unnecessary factor to consider, there are many businesses that make income but can’t handle explosive or consistent growth. Some businesses are created to be and remain small. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with keeping your work load small and easy to manage but if you want to turn your passion into a viable business that supports and sustains you, it has to be created to grow.

As I mentioned in the last episode, selling products is a great way to monetize a blog but you can create and sell your own products without having a blog. Ideally, you should have some access to an interested audience of people to buy your products but even if you don’t, you can still benefit by creating some. Now that you’ve done some research into your topic of interest and you know that you’re not alone, you can rest assured that there are customers for your products.  

Once you’ve identified the practical skills behind your passion pursuit, you can consider having it make money for you. The really cool thing about any kind of specialized interest is that there are other people out there who share that interest. When your interest is really unique, it can be a very niche market but those people are also often very involved in their unique interests. But even if your passion is in a more general arena, there are ways to make money from it.

Congratulations! You’ve started down the path of finding your passion. By now you should have at least identified a few things that you are passionate about and be exploring at least one or two of them. I wanted to give you some insight to my journey and how it is going. As I mentioned in an earlier episode, I have clarity on some of the online business efforts that I'm working on. This week, I had an epiphany on what I should be focusing on over the next month.

There are many benefits to why you should get your voice heard. Personally, my favorite is the potential impact you could have on the lives of so many others. Imagine, you have a skill, idea, experience, knowledge, talent, passion, expertise, information, or hobby that could help another human being, if not more. The best way to start making an impact is by providing value to the public.  

Taxes are a very serious concern for any business owner. There isn’t a for-profit business owner anywhere who doesn’t have to take taxes into consideration. Almost every location in the world taxes businesses.

As a business owner, you may be responsible for a wider variety of taxes than ever before. You need to consider not only your own state and federal taxes, but also sales taxes, payroll taxes, and many others.

You will need to apply for an Employer Identification Number, or EIN. This is your federal tax ID number (sort of like your social security number, if you’re American) and it will be how you file your federal taxes to the IRS. It will also be used if your company applies for credit and for other purposes.

Not everyone who starts a business needs a business license. It really depends on the type of business you’re going to run, where you’re going to operate it, and a number of other factors.

If you need a business license and don’t get one, you could be facing some pretty harsh fines depending on where you live.

To find out if you need a business license, you will need to find out what your state and/or local government requires. This will depend on a variety of factors, and you may need other types of licenses in addition to a standard business license.

Starting your own business is not an endeavor you should jump into without a great deal of thought and consideration. It’s risky, and there are a lot of steps to getting started.

Most people seem to think you can jump right into daily operations, but there’s a lot of preparation needed before you can make your first dollar or court your first customer.

We’re going to take a look at some of the various factors to consider before you open the doors to your business, and what you need to be absolutely sure to get in place before you get started.

No matter where you are in life, just start where you are.  It doesn't matter what you are hoping to accomplish, but if you have been waiting for the right time to start a business, start your own podcast, start a blog, start a fitness routine, start a new habit or hobby - whatever it is, start right now. How many of you think it is too late to start something new? How many of you think you just don't have time? Or how many of you have put some of your goals, dreams or to-dos on the shelf and really have no intention of dusting them off and working on them?  

A couple months ago, I did a challenge titled One Funnel Away. This 30 day challenge was nothing short of amazing. It helped me craft my own future business and get all of this started. In fact, I started doing this daily podcast because of this challenge. I have also had a couple of my joint venture partners take the challenge and they too have made progress towards their very own online passive income streams.  

My entire life, I have been a perfectionist in almost every way. I had my life planned out, I had every process perfected and I had ‘control’ of almost every situation. However, I found out as I grew older that being a perfectionist was almost a curse. When things didn’t go my way, when things were out of my control, inside I literally freaked out.

For most of my life, I have felt that being a perfectionist was a great thing and I somewhat still do, but when you find the ability to harness the power of taking imperfect action, the sky becomes the limit. If I could go back in time and let my past self know about this amazing concept, I would – my life would have been forever changed in many ways. How about you? I have literally been spending every single moment of my free time listening to podcasts and watching videos of people who have been successful with funnels. And not just any funnel though, funnels developed using a particular funnel building tool. My list of people who I admire in this space is growing by the minute. It is amazing to see how many people are making literally millions using  and how many people have such great stories of being the average Joe to becoming a millionaire in less time than it takes to go to college. I don’t know about you, but I want to be part of this elite group of entrepreneurs who are living out their dreams and who love what they do.

How many of you consider yourself to come up with brilliant ideas, generally, all of the time? But how many people actually turn those ideas into income streams? I’m sure we would be surprised to find out that only an extremely small percentage of people actually make things happen. I would say that lack of time is a huge barrier to turning my ideas into accomplishments. But I also have another diagnosis and it is what I have coined as “Squirrel Syndrome”…let me explain it and see if you can relate?  

Nothing inspires me more than hearing testimonies and stories about people we know and love. As I’ve said before, everyone has a story and some will make you cry. I totally believe that no matter who you are, there have been some sort of setbacks in your life. But what we tend to do as humans, is look at successful people in a light of luckiness. When in fact, they just pursued their dreams, no matter what the sacrifice. Here are some great examples of celebrities who realized it was never too late to get started on achieving their dreams!
