Jimmy Connors is a tennis legend having played professionally for over 30 years. His record 109 ATP tournament wins still stands today, & includes 8 grand slam titles. Brett Connors has worked in live Tennis production for 15 years. Having also traveled the tour with his father in the 80’s and 90’s this gives Brett a unique view of the sport

When we started this podcast we made a short list of people they wanted to try and have as guests on the show. At the top of that list was this weeks guest, the hit king himself Pete Rose joins Advantage Connors! Compared to each other throughout their respective careers, Jimmy and Pete connect on many levels and actually have a lot in common. Both had a parent who helped teach them the game, both had that never quit mentality, and both were second to none when it came to discipline and work ethic. Oh yeah, and both guys liked the action of placing a bet once in a while! Checking in with the tennis world

Jimmy and Brett check in with the tennis world and boy is it a busy one. World #1 Ash Barty out of nowhere announces her retirement from the WTA tour. As a show favorite this news shocked and saddened the guys as they discuss her impact on the game and wish her the best in retirement.

The American hard court swing is well under way as we wrap up Indian Wells with Taylor Fritz and Iga Swiatek coming out on top in the California desert.

Then a preview of the Miami Open down south in the parking lot of Brett's beloved Dolphins.
