012 - Optimizing Real Estate through Blockchain with Nnamdi Uba

On this episode, we sat down with the Nnamdi Uba to discuss how one of the oldest legacy industries in Africa, real estate, can be better optimized and simplified with the help of blockchain technology. Nnamdi is the CEO and co-founder behind HouseAfrica, an African property technology company that has specifically positioned itself to address Africa's land verification problem which is evidenced by the estimated $900 billion worth of dead capital that exists in Nigeria alone. With a solution oriented approach and a vision for unlocking this capital driving them forward, Nnamdi and his team have been working in the technology space for many years which made for a well-informed conversation on key questions relevant to the space - questions such as whether or not Africa is ready for blockchain and what can governments do to support the adoption of this emerging technology. If you are interested in understanding more about how real estate in Africa is evolving in the  direction toward more access, more security, and more opportunities for all, this conversation is definitely for you.
