Eilu v' Eilu - S1 E10 'Hunters' Recap & Review

The episode begins with a conversation between Meyer and Ruth after a 30 year separation following the war. They discuss their new grandson Jonah, and the light within him that Meyer once had.
In the present, Millie presented her findings to a panel of her superiors who unsurprisingly belittle and dismiss her hearsay of a Nazi plot in America, but later is visited by a congresswoman who would like her to head a task force to continue her work.
Meyer (Al Pacino) had been rescued by Sister Harriet and wakes up at home with Jonah (Logan Lerman), who he is sorely disappointed in for not killing Travis (Greg Austin). Jonah later makes a connection that Ruth had hidden files on The Wolf and when he finds the right letters and documents, he soon finds the Wolf himself (William Sadler). Jonah delivers him to Meyer at the first opportunity, and at first opportunity, without trial or prayer, Meyer kills the terrified man. This troubles Jonah, who had read in Ruth's letter that Meyer vowed to pray for the monster before he kills him. Soon, Jonah makes another connection and realizes the man he knew as Meyer was actually the Wolf all along. The revelation sparks an intense argument and in the end, Jonah kills the imposter Meyer. Jonah confesses everything to the visibly shaken group of Hunters, scattering Mindy and Joe, who himself is distracted enough to be hit by a car and kidnapped.
Meanwhile, Travis has convinced his parents to hire a Jewish lawyer to help him out of prision, when in fact he wanted to lure one in just to make a spectacle of killing him before the other prisoners and channel their rage toward his ideaology.
Finally, Joe forcibly arrives in Argentina to find the Colonel, revealed to be named Eva, alive and well at a mansion where four identical boys live with an old mustached man named Adolf.

The Great Ol' Nazi Cookout of '77 - S1 E9 'Hunters' After Show

The Great Ol' Nazi Cookout of '77 - S1 E9 'Hunters' After Show

Harriet (Kate Mulvaney) learns from Millie the location of the factory where they are infusing corn syrup with the deadly pathogen, and from her friend at the CDC that it can be destroyed at a high enough temperature. Millie also discovers her superior Agent Grimsby worked as one of the American officials who immigrated high-ranking Nazis in America and rushes to his home to find him there with Biff (Dylan Baker).
Travis returns to the Colonel (Lena Olin), proving he is the "fittest" over Tobias, and she unexpectedly initiates him into her clan with an unsettling ceremony.
Meyer had convinced Roxy to rejoin the group and is now helping Mindy to continue with their work, which brings the entire group of Hunters to the table to sabotage the Nazis plan. Lonny (Josh Radnor) and Harriet have napped and tortured a wealth of information from a plant manager, and with a deal of encouragement from his partner, Lonny poses as the manager to enter the heart of the factory's production. The entire team works elsewhere to disable the shipping operations, and despite numerous close calls, are ultimately successful in chaotically destroying the facility and many of the Nazis working inside. Meyer, however, steps away as the group convenes to surprise the Colonel as her getaway driver. The Colonel retrieves a stashed pistol, fires at Meyer, and the limo drives off the edge of a bridge.

The Jewish Question - S1 E8 'Hunters' Recap & Review

The Jewish Question - S1 E8 'Hunters' Recap & Review

Jonah (Logan Lerman) walks home through the choas of the NYC blackout of '77, tormented by visions of the now three people close to him who have been killed. The Hunters reunite, including a suriving Lonny and Millie, who has agreed to pause her pursuit of Meyerand instead deal with the larger matter at hand, but upon Jonah's arrival the team learns that Murray will no longer be joining them. A heartfelt funeral is held for Murray with the entire group in attendance, but Jonah excuses himself shortly after because he is overwhelmed with guilt. Meyer alleviates Jonah's turmoil by discussing true nature of heroism, later finishing his point with another recount of The Wolf's torture, this time attacking Meyer's "light" by evoking him to kill 11 men to spare Ruth.

Mindy (Carol Kane), having just been visited by her daughter, is now alone with a vision of Murray, who "reunites" her with their sun in a paradisal garden before sharing his final wish for her; that she show the captured Moritz mercy. Millie (Jerrika Hinton) takes a moment to visit her mother in the hospital, with Maria in the process, and recieves some poignant wisdom from her mother regarding matters of love. Harriet continues investigating the Ghost's blood through a friend at the CDC only to learn it is virtually undetectable and has no cure.
The Hunters pursue their next target by first gathering intel from an ally, Simon Weisenthal (Judd Hirsch), who debates Meyer on the consequence of losing the ideal of Judiasm by fighting for Jewish survial. Nevertheless, Meyer, Jonah, and Joe find "the Rocketman," a celebrity rocket scientist who Jonah threatens with electrocution to reveal information about the Fourth Reich. The Rocketman finally reveals the Colonel's plan to poison poor and minority families by means of corn syrup, yet Jonah electrocutes him anyway, bringing back his tormenting vision of Ruth's disappointment in him.

Two Interrogations Lead to One Chaotic Mess - S1 E5 'Hunters' Recap & Review

Jonah (Logan Lerman) has been accepted by the group, to an extent, training with Joe (Louis Ozawa Changchien) in self-defense, getting a talk from Meyer (Al Pacino) about the dangers of hesitating to act, and a warning from Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvany) about the sacrifices the hunters make to do their work. The Hunters team splits into two groups to track people close to The Ghost; a propagandist who worked closely with him, and one of his top lieutenants. Roxy, Lonny, and Meyer accost Tilda Sauer after her political activism party and torture her in hopes of her confessing to her real identity and giving information about The Ghost. She pleads ignorance throughout the interrogation, prompting doubt in Meyer's reassurance, until she cryptically taunts Meyer and he immediately shoots her. Joe, Harriet, and Jonah crash Dieter Zweigelt's 4th of July party for their own interrogation, where he happily divulges the CIA and NASA recruited him and a list of other Nazis operating in America. Upon hearing the name Kenneth Swiggins, Sister Harriet immediately leaves the operation to seek him out at the party and hurridly transport him elsewhere. Meanwhile, Millie speaks extensively with Danny Rohr, whose life has been ruined after looking into the Nazis for Meyer. Later, she herself is ambushed in a restroom by unknown figures who drop a photo of her and Maria as a warning to drop her investigation.
