The Next In Fashion After Show Podcast

For the semi-final the last four designers take on denim. Denim is a universal fabric that is worn by many and for many different occasions. The designers are tasked with two denim looks which must work with each other. Celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart returns to help judge the designs with guest judge Tommy Hilfiger. The winners were Daniel Fletcher and Minju Kim. Angel Chen and Ashton Hirota were eliminated.

For the Finale the last two designers have a big task ahead of them! They have to complete a full ten-piece collection in three days. They’re also told that the tenth look should be a show-stopper. Pressure is on.  As a bonus, they are surprised by family members flown in for the finale.

Daniel Fletcher uses the Bright young things as his basis while Minju Kim drew inspiration from Frida Kahlo. The guest judges were Eva Chen, Head of Fashion Partnerships for Instagram, celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart and Elizabeth von dee Goltz, Global Buying Director for Net-a-Porter.

Teams are no more!. In episode 7, each designer must design an activewear look on their own, Daniel shines and his color blocked look wins the challenge. Carli and Angelo are sent home. In episode 8, the designers must pull inspiration from the military. Public School is the guest judge. Angel’s gold oversized look wins. Marco and Charles are sent home.

There are only five teams left to do the rock n roll challenge. Angel and Minju are in the bottom two again. Claire and Adolfo are also in the bottom two and end up going home. Surprisingly, Carli and Daniel win the competition. It’s announced from here on out no more teams - it will be every man for himself.

In episode 2, the contestants are tasked with the theme of prints and patterns. Each team must design two looks, one for a female model and one for a male model. Angel and Minju won while Nareesh and Lorena went home for playing it safe.

In the series premiere, we meet the contestants and the teams. The challenge was to design a red carpet look. Angelo and Charles take the victory. Nesheli and Isaac are sent home.
