On this episode of Katy Keene, the #MeToo movement was explored in more ways then one. Gloria gets exposed as running a SEX RING with her Lacy’s girls and Katy is hard at work trying to prove that Gloria is innocent. Pepper gets extra spicy with Riverdale’s favorite LGBT King Kevin Keller as she helps him expose a creepy Broadway director. However, Karma is that girl and comes back to bite Pepper in less than one business day. Meanwhile, Josie is getting the Pussycats in order and Xandra asks Josie if she can join the band. When Josie turns Xandra down, Xandra gets her own and performs Josie’s song since Cabot Entertainment owns its rights. Katy starts her apprenticeship with Guy LaMontagne, but things do not go as planned. Guy challenges every move she makes, until he finally uses one slip-up to teach Katy her first lesson in the fashion industry. After this, we explore Josie’s revamping of Josie and the Pussycats through the lens of a documentary shot by Raj. When her integrity is questioned, Josie eventually stands up for herself with Mr. Cabot and Alex follows Josie suit. Meanwhile, Pepper is planting some spicy seeds in Jorge’s head after Jorge reveals he still might be into Buzz. Jorge invites Buzz out for drinks with him and Bernardo, one thing led to another, and even the FDNY could not put out all of that heat. In the end, Pepper’s biggest secret to date is finally revealed and we can’t wait to see what happens next. Katy interviews for Guy’s apprenticeship and he sends her on a mission to retrieve a dress from none other than Xandra. But here’s the kicker, Katy and KO have lunch and we find out that KO and Xandra’s relationship is no longer just professional. Meanwhile, Pepper is celebrating her birthday with a party at Molly’s Crisis and things get MESSY. This all comes during the aftermath of the assault on Jorge and Bernardo, which shakes up Jorge’s relationship with his father. While Jorge is getting dragged by Deveraux, the rest of the Katy Keene crew are going through it! Jorge shines at the Miss Washington Heights pageant thanks to help from his mom, who just happens to be a former Miss Puerto Rico. Josie and Alex start to collaborate on her EP but things go south during a listening party at the record store after Xandra exposes the details of Josie’s contract to Alex.
