In season 1 ep 9, the Uploads are looking forward to the improvements in the new LakeView operating system except Nathan and Nora who  stay up late to recover Nathan’s memories and devise a plan to stay within each other’s minds. They’re “virtual” love affair is confirmed with an actual kiss and the hope that they will be together again on the other side. In episode 10, the finale of this comedy, sci-fi, murder mystery, drama (you KNOW it nails all of the genres!), confirms that all of his current memories at LakeView are present. Nathan’s restored memory also reveals some disappointing behavior & life choices that question his allegiances with his partner, Jamie & potential bosses. All of this new information puts Nora in physical danger & creates doubt about who Nathan appears to be.

Nora Brings her dad to work to show him what life would be life if he uploads to this after life. She has her crush Nathan give him a tour of the place while she did a little investigating on her mangers computer about Nathan’s deletes memories. Nora starts to discover more about Nathans death but gets suspended when her manager finds out that Nathan knows her name. Ingrid admits to cheating on Nathan with his business partner which is making her contemplate on freezing Nathan so she can  lie her life in her 20’s. He starts to view other Afterlives with his mother to get control back of his life, but Nora finds out and intervenes to bring him back home.

In this episode Nora’s dad sickness gets worse, and their relationship grows stronger as she opens up about her dating life. Nathan agrees to Babysit Dylan and Luke convinces them to visit the Grey Market. Dylan ran off to get a Avatar booster to boost his age but ultimately it turned him into a women. Ingrid invited Nathan Niece over for a sleepover and we find out how rude and wealthy her family really is. Nora ends up taking her date from nightly to her work but ends up sending his home to cuddle with Nathan all night. She is woken up in the morning by her coworkers at her desk.

Nora (Andy Allo) struggles to get a 5-star rating to boost her score enough to be eligible for an upload service for her ailing father. While searching for fellow uploads to meet as part of his pet therapist's assignment for him, Nathan (Robbie Amell) takes notice of Nora's efforts and lifts her spirits with several 5-star ratings for her.

While prepping for Nathan's funeral, he and Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) catch a horrifically failed attempt at a human "download," dashing any hopes of undoing his recent tragedy. At the funeral, Ingrid toasts the four seconds of hope that gave her, Nathan's friends become absent during his eulogy, and save for Nora's suprise appearance at a livestream, Nathan has a miserable funeral. However, his cousin Fran (Elizabeth Bowen) makes an appearance to further her investigation into Nathan's inexplicable car accident, and later discovers Ingrid may have tampered with his vehicle.

Nora shows Nathan more of the Horizen grounds, including the dismal floors for customers with limited data plans, which Nathan hopes to help in the future. For now, he and Ingrid stuggle within their relationship, first in being on the same page and later with phsyical intimacy. Nora is summoned as tech support to help solve the issue, which she does, futhering the budding romance between Nathan and his angel.

After a self-driving car crash, Nathan played by Robbie Amell, dies in real life & is uploaded to the Lakeview digital afterlife which his girlfriend l, Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) insists upon. He meets awesome characters & pretty exciting afterlife 2030 scenarios, but his saving grace is his customer service Rep from the Horizon Network, Nora aka Angel (Andy Allo). Despite the mysterious circumstances, Nora is able to make an empathetic connection that Nathan responds to positively, and which sets the tone for this dark comedy winner! The comedic timing, casting & stand out characters all make this show a must watch series that begins with a BANG!
