When Allegra and Jake escape their captor, they find themselves in a difficult situation as their van crashes in the middle of the desert. Once all Hope seems to be lost, a camel leads Jake and Allegra to Candy Bar Bains, the man behind the mysterious radio transmissions and heir to the Bains sugar fortune. As he helps Allegra and Jake get back to town, Chief Raytek meets with Cyrus, and the two strike an unlikely deal. Meanwhile, Clyde Brattle meets with the senator, offering him names of corrupt politicians in exchange for his freedom. As the two parties reach a foul agreement, A.D. records the entire encounter, giving Allegra the leverage she needs to take them all down.

Jake meets with the senator to negotiate his potential pardon. When the meeting doesn’t go as planned, Jake and Allegra devise a plan to take down Clyde Brattle at their high school reunion before Clyde’s meeting with the senator. Through this plan, the details of Jake and Raytek’s allegiance are revealed as the two of them are forced to work with Allegra. When Brattle and his men get the upper hand on Allegra and Jake, it is revealed through new evidence that Gene is actually a contract killer and may the man responsible for Felicity’s death.

Allegra (Rosario Dawson) and AD Singe (Edi Gathegi) get Harold’s help in decrypting the bug from Felicity’s secret apartment. Lalo Levantes (David Zaldivar) pick up a young girl who follows a drone across the border. Freddie Laffter questions Jake Spivey’s (Jay R. Ferguson) motives and operation but their conversation is interrupted by the very influential Staghornes. The mayor commands Chief Raytek to look into Durango Global, the company buying up real estate in Packingtown. Allegra confronts Lalo and AD Singe confronts Freddie Laffter who ends up collapsing mysteriously. AD Singe and Allegra have a heated moment after a frustrating day of investigating. Allegra listens to the decrypted tape which leads her to the old Dungee brewery where she finds displaced families and children.

Allegra (Rosario Dawson) is escorted to her sister's funeral and being given copious amounts of sympathy, praise for her sister's memory and also, beer. Allegra morbidly reveals how her parents died as well as her decision to send Felicity to boarding school. While the entire town mingled at the funeral, Allegra sneaks away to tell Cyrus about her meeting with Clyde Brattle. Allegra then opens up about her relationship with Felicity to Jake Spivey and A.D Singe. Allegra makes a scene at the burial ceremony by stealing her sister’s portrait and running away with it. Floyd Ferness emerges to discreetly give Allegra Harold’s bug before sacrificing his life to the cops.

Allegra Dill (Rosario Dawson) finds out Felicity had a burner phone and recruits the help of AD Singe to find it. Jake Spivey throws a party for Saint Disgrace’s wealthy elites to “honor” the mayor. Floyd Ferness is on the run from the cops with a manhunt underway for him. A.D Singe unknowingly meets Gene Colder’s wife, Lucrecia, who helps him find the location of Felicity’s burner phone. Allegra and AD visit the location and find Felicity’s real apartment, with Harold Snow hiding out in the closet. On her way home, Allegra encounters Clyde Brattle who tells her he wants to turn himself in. He drops her off at a secluded warehouse where she finds countless drones.

Cyrus instructs Allegra to get a deposition on Jake Spivey. Allegra’s efforts to get Spivey to sell out his partner in crime, Clyde Brattle fail and her boss, Senator Joseph, sends her a warning. Allegra confronts Floyd, Felicity’s old boyfriend and coworker who warns her about the cunning police department of Saint Disgrace. Allegra warns Jake Spivey about Clyde Brattle possibly coming for him. Allegra returns to her hotel only to be attacked by a mysterious intruder.

On the mission to find who killed her sister, Allegra meets A.D Singe, a friend of Felicity’s who might know more than he is leading on. In investigating the case of Clyde Brattle, Allegra pays a visit to Jake Spivey, the richest man in town and an old friend. The chief of police, Strucker, lies about what he knows of Felicity’s death. An explosion at the end of the episode leaves us with more questions than answers. Today's
