After The Rain

After The Rain

By Asha Wild
As a society, we don't value the incredible role that creative visionaries play in our ability to solve many of the largest problems we're facing.

We're at the crux of the world that is and the world that needs desperately to become realized.

But the job of imagining that new world is not for the faint of heart. Only a few have the courage as well as the capacity to be relentlessly and persistently hopeful.

Asha Wild- host, creativity coach, and multi-disciplinary artist will look at the place where our current quandary collides with creative chaos in After the Rain.

...On Defying Labels and Infinite Expansion
I've been thinking a lot lately about multipotentialites-  people who have lots of interests and creative pursuits. In this episode I riff on the constraints we (multipotentialites) feel by societal obsession with labeling, niching, and defining people (and their work) and how we can move beyond that and powerfully reclaim all of ourselves.  If you want to find me and chat about this episode, check out what I have going on at the moment, or become a client you can find me on Instagram @ashawild or contact me via the form on my website. I mention my email list which can be found here. (I send hilarious, poetic, brilliant emails you'll love to read.)   I also mention my TikTok. ...On Broken Systems and the Power of Sci Fi, Creativity, and Relentless Hope to Fix Them.
Welcome to the first ever episode of the After The Rain Podcast with me - Asha Wild. I’m a coach, artist, performer, and deep thinker. I help creative rebellious visionaries, artists, outcasts, and misfits to craft lives and careers that pay them well and allow them to be all of who they are  so that they are able to first dream and then create a better world for all of us. After the Rain is full of stories, musings, and reflections on the intersections of art, creativity, wellness, societal norms, culture, and money. This first-ever episode is raw, unfiltered, and off-the-cuff. I picked up the recorder in the midst of a potent conversation and  trusted the timing. It isn’t perfect (you’ll hear my mom banging on pots  in the background…) but it is the epitome of messy, imperfect action. Of just doing the thing! How selfish would it be for me to sit on it for months just so that I can have all the pieces I thought I needed, when I have something that  someone (you?) might need to hear now and the ability to make sure you’re able to hear it. In this episode I mention pandemic related bankruptcy. If you want to know more, I suggest this episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on the subject. If you want to find me and chat about this episode, check out what I  have going on at the moment, or become a client you can find me on  Instagram @ashawild or sign up for my email newsletter here. (I send hilarious, poetic, brilliant emails you'll love to read.)
