Glossary: Enteral feeding - may mean nutrition taken through the mouth or through a tube that goes directly to the stomach or small intestine

Parenteral - method of getting nutrition into your body through your veins

Naso-gastric tube - narrow-bore tube passed into the stomach via the nose

Gastrointestinal - relating to the stomach and the intestines.
