Apostle, Dr. Brian K. Schaeffer is a native of Memphis, Tennessee where he currently resides. Dr. Schaeffer retired from the US Army after serving more than 22 years and relocated to Northeastern Arkansas where he served as United States Postal Service Postmaster. 

Apostle, Dr. Schaeffer, heeding the Lord's call, he and his wife launched Interceding Christian Center in West Memphis, AR in 2011 with the mantra "Aspiring to bring God's people to spiritual knowledge and victory". In that mantra “Interceding Christian Center” operates as a place of empowerment, healing, and understanding. 

Dr. Schaeffer has a ThD in Theology from the International College of Ministry; has completed course work toward a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, an MBA from Touro University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in  Business Management from Virginia State University. 

Dr. Schaeffer is married to the former Ethel (Tina) L. Boston of West Memphis, and they have 5 children Michael, Kelvin, Ken

Evangelist Doris Davis Henderson  Evangelist Doris Ann Davis Henderson, at an early age, became a member and was baptized at the New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church located on the corner of 77th and Evans on the south side of Chicago. It was here that she came to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior over 50 years ago. Thereafter she began to evangelize to her family and friends. She is the proud mother of two wonderful children Danielle and Edward and the second mother to her son in law Jason. To date, she also is the proud grandmother of 4 beautiful grandchildren.  

Academically Evangelist Doris Davis Henderson is a graduate of Robert Lindblom Technical High School and the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy where she received her degree for her life career as a Registered Pharmacist. In the years following she received a license as a Real Estate Agent and as an Evangelist in the State of Illinois in 2010.  

Evangelist Doris is the founder and CEO for FAITH FINDS GRACE GIFTS. This Ministry was started in her home as a monthly fellowship approximately 18 years ago. For more than 25 years she was an active member of the Apostolic Church of God where Bishop Arthur M. Brazier was her beloved pastor.  

Evangelist Doris Henderson, currently her pastor is Andrew D. Singleton of the Victory Apostolic Church located in Matteson Illinois where she is a member in good standing.

Anton Seals, Jr is currently the Lead Steward (Executive Director) of Grow Greater Englewood (GGE) Transforming vacant city lots into farm businesses, via a network of Black and brown urban farmers. A social enterprise focusing on building an equitable and resilient local food system that fosters protections of vacant land in divested communities and focuses on connecting those residents with community wealth-building opportunities.

In 2019 Seals founded OURS, a vertical Cannabis, and Hemp Company, Seals is an Asset Based community development (ABCD) institute trainer, also located at DePaul University Steans Center. Anton Jr. is a 2018 Next City Vanguard Fellow and 2010German Marshall Fellow Seals serves as a Trustee for the Woods Fund of Chicago, also serves on the board of Chicago Food Policy Action Council, Friends of the park, and is Chair of The South Shore Works Planning Preservation Coalition.

As a passionate historian, her focus is to create immersive experiences through exhibitions to encourage youth to engage more in African American history.

Professionally, she has worked in the social service field for over 40 years. Her primary focus has been serving persons suffering from alcohol and drug addictions. She believes in addressing the needs of the whole man/ woman and has equipped herself to do so as evidenced by her credentials. 

Pastor Beamon holds a Master's Degree in Theological Studies; is certified by the state of Illinois as an Alcohol and other Drugs Counselor and is also certified as a Clinical  Trauma Professional.

About Our Guest:  CO-Pastor Gay Michelle Chisum   

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she relocated to Chicago after receiving her Associate Degree at Allegheny Community College in Nursing. She attended Loyola University and National Lewis University and received a bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science.  As a registered nurse she has worked in the areas of Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, and Substance Abuse. She founded Perinatal Addiction Consultants, taught health care professionals throughout the United States about Perinatal Addiction for twelve years, and served as a Perinatal Addiction consultant to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.   

In 1989 she was ordained as an Elder and served on the Elder Board of Life Center Church under Pastor T. L. Barrett Jr. In 1992 her husband, Pastor St. John Chisum founded Gifts from God Ministry Church where she served on the Official Church Board. In 1999 Elder Gay was elevated to Co-Pastor Gay M. Chisum. She has been exercising her gifts through preaching and teaching messages for the children, teens, women and directing Health Ministries.   

Co-Pastor Gay has worked as an Asthma Educator for the Respiratory Health Association, University of Illinois, St. Bernard Hospital, Chicago Asthma Consortium, and the University of Chicago. She retired in 2017 but she spent ten years pursuing a passion to teach families how to control asthma and prevent fatal episodes.   

Co-Pastor Gay was the Co-Director of the 2018 One Summer Chicago Youth project, where the youth created the Gifts From God Ministry Peace Wall entitled “A Vision of Peace in Englewood”. At present, Co-Pastor Gay continues to serve Englewood through organizing an annual coat giveaway with the HOST foundation, distribution of fresh vegetables with Just Roots and works in partnership with William Blair Investment Company staff as Englewood Director of the Adopt A Family Program.

About Our Special Guest: Travis A. Newsome earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2004 and became a licensed architect in 2012. He’s a member of the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago where he serves on the Church’s Board, the A.C.O.G. Ministerial Alliance, and he leads the church’s worship team, prayer team, and men’s ministry.

Travis has a passion for declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ and things pertaining to the kingdom of God in both word and song. The breadth, depth, and calling of his Apostolic anointing allows him to flow as a spiritual workshop leader, singer/psalmist, preacher, teacher, & inspirational speaker. He currently resides in the Chicago area with his lovely wife and his three beautiful daughters.
