This interview held in Japanese. Yuki's online anime tour: https://www.airbnb.jp/experiences/1655666   Yuki's online Japanese lesson:  https://www.italki.com/user/4732907   Akari's online Japanese, English lesson: https://www.italki.com/teacher/916033

34. Month of the year in old Japanese 旧暦の月の言い方
Normally we say 1月、2月、3月(January, February, March) in standard Japanese. But we used to use lunar calendar before, and at that time, we have other words to describe month of the year. For example, 弥生(やよい、yayoi) =March, 皐月(さつき、satsuki)=May, 葉月(はづき、hazuki). My favorite one is 神無月(かんなづき, kannazuki, meaning=God, no, month). Only Shimane prefecture where Izumo-shrine is they call 神在月(かみありづき、kamiarizuki, mean=God, there, month)
