Society 3.0 ft. Danil Kerimi
Hey there Mavericks, can’t stare at your screen any longer? Well, I have something that might just keep you away from it and at the same time help you dwell about redirecting your work to becoming more impactful especially during the times like now when we are in the middle of the global pandemic.
Well, you already know that I started a podcast series “Society 3.0” recently. Since the first episode in the podcast series got a decent response, I was encouraged to come back with another one where I bring perspectives from someone that will help you captain your ship in these turbulent and uncertain times.
So here goes! We have an amazing change agent, Danil Kerimi sharing his big picture perspective gained while guiding innovators at organisations like World Economic Forum and United Nations. Danil has worked with governments of all forms, large enterprises, start-ups and investor communities on accelerating and securing digital transition around the world and applying newfound capabilities for solving biggest challenges in health, food and environmental ecosystems.
As a part of this podcast, I explore the roadmap for the future of society with him. Being in two of the biggest ever halts in economic activity (9/11 and Global Financial Crisis of 2008), Danil analyzes the probable areas to contribute at the time of crisis like today. He bats around how this pandemic is the opportunity to reshape, reset and reconstruct the way the society functions. “What’s important is to always look for an opportunity side of the crisis and to answer questions like how to keep the company afloat”, as he shares the motto that should work on entrepreneurs. Learn about this and much more through this fun-filled and enlightening conversation.
Society 3.0 ft. Tim Draper
On an interesting and still ongoing pursuit towards understanding societal evolution, I analysed impactful innovation and even formed interesting first-hand notions that could potentially enable a path ahead for the future. Some of this notion has a deep imprint from the bitcoinaire and billionaire investor Tim Draper’s vision. I got to learn from him while I was a part of Draper University and even later, as a part of its alumni network.
Tim is the founder of the stellar venture fund, Draper Associates and Silicon Valley’s world-class entrepreneurship academy, Draper University. He has backed some entrepreneurs at an early stage of their hustle while they were building companies such as Hotmail, Baidu, Skype, Tesla, Twitch, Cruise, DocuSign and SpaceX. Some of his investments in the crypto space include Bitcoin, Tezos, Coinbase, banker and Ledger.
As a part of this podcast, I explore the roadmap for the future of society with him. He breaks down that vision and shares his investments in entrepreneurs working towards realising that vision. He talks about the industries ripe for disruption that potentially provide trillion-dollar opportunities. He presents an ingenious yet simple outlook towards governments and shares a framework for evaluating the quality of their work. Learn about this and much more through this fun-filled and enlightening conversation.
